- 10 - (New Year Special)

"Hey (Y/N)!" Your best friend said as she opened the door.

"Hey (Y/B/N)," You said as you step into her house.

"What's wrong?" She asked and closed the door.

"Uh... nothing's wrong," You said smiling weakly.

"I know you (Y/N), there's something bothering you. Just tell me," She said.

"Alright, so..." And there, you started telling her what happened a few days ago.

*Flashback to 2 days ago*

"Hey (Y/N)!" A smiley Cam aka your best guy friend greeted you at the park.

"Hey Cam!" You hugged him. "So, why did you invite me here?" You sat down on the bench.

"Uh... yeah..." He started.

"Is everything okay?" You asked and layed your hand on his shoulder.

He looked at your hand and smiled then he held both of your hands in his and looked deeply in your eyes.

"(Y/N), I think it's time for me to tell you something that I have been keeping for the weeks... And it's that..."

"Ok, you're scaring me Cam, what is it?" You said.

"I love you" He said.

WTF?! Did he just say that he loves me? That's unreal, nope! I must be dreaming.

"(Y/N)? Say something... please?" He looked at you with worry.

You just looked away, nervously because of what he just confessed to you.

He sighed, "Alright, i know what that means (Y/N), you don't think you love me back. Well, at least I tried. Anyways, i will always love you. Bye" And he kissed the top of your hand before going away.

*End of flashback*

*Back to your best friend's house*

"WTF?! I knew it! Yay! He loves you!" (Y/B/N) exclaimed and started doing a happy dance.

"Cameron loves you! You love Cameron!" She chanted. "Wait! Do you love him too?"

"Umm... not really... " You replied.

"Omg! You're so stupid (Y/N)!" She said.

"What? Why?" You asked.

"It's clear that both of you have feelings for each other. You are just too scared to admit it," She said.

"I exactly know that I don't have feelings for him!" You exclaimed.

"Whatever you say but I know you do." And you groaned. "Anyways, i want to know why you didn't say it back to him,"

"Simply because I don't feel that way! What did you want me to say; I love you too but I don't mean it, this is not how love works"

"Oh because you know how love works?"

"Yeah... it's like when you feel butterflies or when you can't stop smiling because you're thinking about them.
When you laugh at every joke they make even to the lamest one because you just love hearing them laugh.
Or when you can't stop staring at them because they're just so beautiful..."

"Wow (Y/N), i didn't know you had that in you, but how do you know about all this?"

"Because I already felt all of this and always feel like this," You smiled.

"And... with whom do you feel like that?"

"With Cam, of course," You smiled thinking of him.

She looked at you with wide eyes.

"What?"

"Seriously?! This just showed that you love him, you idiot!"

And now you started realising it...
You love Cam.

"Oh no! I made a mistake. He will never talk to me again, that's for sure."

"Hell yeah! You made a mistake!"

"What am I supposed to do?" You started panicking.

"I don't know, you are the one who love him,"

"Come on (Y/B/N)! You always come up with great ideas! Please help me!" You whined.

"Okay! I'm going to help you because you look very lost with your life right now,"

"Thank you! Thank you!" You jumped and hugged her.

"Thank me when you'll be doing speech at your wedding reception," You rolled your eyes.

Since it was already 10 pm and not to forget that it was New Years eve, your best friend did your makeup and chose you an outfit to wear.

It was already past 11:30 pm now and you had to go to Cameron's place to confess your love to him.

You jumped into your car and drove as fast as you can (without breaking any laws) and finally made it to his place.

You knocked on the door and Gina answered.

"Oh, (Y/N)?! What are you doing here? Come in, we're just about to do the countdown,"

You entered the house and started looking for Cameron.

"10"

You couldn't spot him.

You finally did.

You tried to make your way among the people.

You got closer.

You taped on his shoulder.

He turned around.

"I love you too," You said.

He smiled instantly.

He took a grip on your waist,

And kissed you.

"Happy New Year!" Everyone cheered.

You snaked your arms around his neck while he snaked his around your waist and you two kissed for a while until he slowly backed away.

And he said, "What made you realise you love me?"

"I guess I was just too scared to admit it"

"Well, I'm happy you did now" And he kissed you again.

"I love you" He said.

"I love you too" You replied.
