College Graduation

Jamie's POV

I was currently lying in bed, resting after all the efforts I had put in my exams the past month.

I definitely wanted to graduate so that I could move in permanently with my boyfriend.

I still can't believe I'm dating THE Cameron Dallas, out of all the pretty models out there, he chose me and I'm so grateful for it.

Speaking of the devil, my phone screen lit up (A/N lol lit)

"Hello" I said.

"Hey gorgeous" Cameron answered, making me smile.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Nothing much, just thinking about you" He replied. "What about you?"

"Not much but guess who's gonna graduate?!" I screamed.

"Who? Kylie Jenner?"

"Come on! Seriously?!"

"Calm down babe, I know you're graduating, I'm so proud of my lil babygirl"

"Thanks," I couldn't help but blush, "I so exciting to see you! you're coming right?"

"uh yeah, about that, I don't think I'll be able to come,"

"What?! what do you mean?"

"I'm busy with the Dolce photoshoots, I'm sorry I can't come"

"you've got to be kidding me"

"I'm not! babe I really wished I could come but I can't,"

I sighed, "fine"

"babygirl, don't be mad"

"I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed"

I heard him sigh.

"Bye Cam,"

"Bye Jamie, I love you"

"yeah bye."

I hung up in disbelief, he promised me, a month ago, that he would come and support me.

But apparently, he photoshoots are more important than his one girlfriend, but what can I say?

It's his job and I can't do anything about it.

That night, I cried myself to sleep.

Day of Graduation

I woke to my mom,

"Honey, wake up, you're graduating today," she said with a smile on her face.

"I don't want to go," I said and engulfed myself under the bed sheets.

"Come on, this Cameron guy won't stop my daughter from graduating,"

"It's not about Cameron, mom"

"Then whom is this about, think about it Jamie," she added before leaving my room.

I finally got out of bed and took a shower, brushed my teeth, did my makeup and put on an outfit.

I wore a peach-coloured bodycon dress, white strappy heels, a pendant choker and the 'God has a plan' bracelet.

I got downstairs, and saw my parents eating breakfast.

My mom gasped and she saw me, "My baby is growing up so fast," and she nearly started crying.

"My beautiful girl! You finally got over that Cameron guy," My dad said and twirled me around.

"Let's not talk about him today,"

Then we left to go the school for the ceremony.

Ceremony

"And finally now, I would like to call Miss Jamie who is graduating with flying colours,"

The principal called me up on stage and gave me my certificate.

I thanked him and did a little speech,
"I want to thank my teachers, friends and family who supported me all along and I'm happy to claim this certificate as the fruit of my hard labour..."

When I finished my speech, everyone cheered and clapped.

"That's my daughter!"
"Wooooohhh"
"You go girl!"
"Babygirl!!"

I got quite confused when I heard that, only Cameron calls me that.

But he isn't here, I'm probably just over-thinking.

I got down the stage and ran towards my parents who engulfed me in a giant hug together with my friends.

"We're so proud of you!" They all said and I started crying.

"Jamie, someone is here for you," My mom said and she stepped aside to show me who was here.

And there he was,

"Cameron?!"

I rushed into his arms, and he hugged me tight.

He spinned me around and finally set me down.

"I thought you wouldn't come," I was crying as this point.

"I cancelled my photoshoots and came here," he replied.

"Babe, why did you do that? I know Dolce was important for you,"

"My babygirl is more important," And he pulled me in a side hug and kissed my forehead.

Later, I discovered my parents organised a giant party for me.

We danced, drank and laughed.

I was slow-dancing with Cameron when he whispered in my ear,

"Are you ready to move in LA with me, babe?"

"I am" I smiled and kissed him on the lips.
