Why Did This Happen,why To Me ?

Alex POV
   Me and Jeff took a walk towards the kitchen so he could cool off, we looked as if he was going to be sick. Toby was already in there "Damn what's got you mate?" I set Jeff down then tell Toby what happened he laughs and mumbles something "WHAT WAS THAT YOU ASS?!?" Jeff threw a knife in Toby's direction "I SAID GOOD SHE WAS WASTING YOUR TIME WITH ALL THAT DAMN FIGHTING YOU TWO WERE DOING" Toby screams loud enough for the entire house to hear, he pulls the knife from the wall and slams it into the table in front of Jeff and walks out with out saying another word.

   I sit right of Jeff he looks me in the eyes "what if he's right what if she was just wasting everyone time?" I just sighed it's all I could of done, he set his head down on the table as soon as his head and the table made contact the kitchen door burst open. It was Jane, Jeff stood up so fast it made my head spin even you could tell she's been crying. I looked at where he had his face on the table there was tears.

   He'd been crying, his face was still red as was his eyes. He missed here that's for sure. But there was something about the way she didn't wrap her arms around him right when he hugged her and said "You scared me Jane, please don't leave again, please."

   I then noticed why she didn't hug him back, both of her hands were on her side as if she was holding something, she was, she had ran into the skin taker in the woods while she was running away. The skin taker is a skeleton that takes victims skin and wears it as cape, you can tell she lost the fight and barely made it with her life. She pulled her hands away from her side they were covered in blood, as were her clothes.
