Alex POV
When Jeff came to his senses he saw all of the blood that was on her clothes he rushed her down to the basement. He was down there with her as the Doc worked on her sides and back. It was already morning by the time they both came back up. There was nothing said for no one wanted to break the silence. I couldn't hold back anymore, I pulled him aside and asked him how bad it was. He said nothing, I started to get worried so I asked him again. It was the that he told me the bad news, Jane was dying-fast. When we hear the basement door creak open we all turned slowly thinking all different things, some of us were and some were wrong. It was the Doc. He first wanted to talk to Slender, they talked to softly for anyone to hear. When they turned around without a trace of hope there was a silent cry that had fallen over everyone for we all know what happened. Jane was dying, fast. There was nothing we could do. Jeff goes to the kitchen to get a drink, Slender goes outside to get air, Sally goes back to playing dolls but not as playful as before, and everyone just went to their rooms except for me; I just stood here in shock.
A million things were racing through my head at once and I know the same thing was happening to Jeff. I felt so sorry for him, he loved her. Even though he never said it aloud I could tell he loved her. Granted he never said it in front of any of us because he was never one to have a way of showing feelings. Everyone came down stairs at once, everyone except Jeff. When we saw the doc again without his haunting smile drawn upon his face we all said nothing but we all thought the same thing ''why the hell does he always take the young ones?"
