Noah

If you could count the number of friends you have on one hand, is that a good thing or a bad thing? Noah always thought it was a good thing, for multiple reasons. Everyone else would try to convince her it was a bad thing, not having much friends means not a lot of people may not like you. There might be something wrong with you. Nothing was wrong with Noah, she was perfectly fine (well, not perfectly fine). She was a nice person, not a lot of people spoke to her though (she always thought it was because of her appearance). The friends she did have, they said she was a good person, she's nice, genuine, funny, adorable.

Some of those traits Noah would agree with. No matter what people would continue to say it's not normal to have such a small amount of friends. Wouldn't you want friends you know who are true, than a bunch of people who are there because they are trying to be nice?

Everyone Noah knows and is still friends with is because she knows she's going to still speak to them even if she moved to a different continent. People who would be lifelong friends.

Like, Tabitha, or Nathalie and Melissa. Noah's met them in middle school and at their Junior year of high school they're still friends even though they all go to different schools. Nathalie and Melissa are sisters, but they're still individual people even though sometimes they do look alike. Noah doesn't speak to them most of them time, but when Tabitha arranges a meet up at Nathalie and Melissa's place, they speak like nothing has changed. Today was that meet-up and surprisingly Noah's mother let her walk alone to Nathalie's place at ten in the morning.

Noah met up with Tabitha, she's still a tiny bit taller than Noah. Well, Noah was only 5'3, everyone else looked down at her except for people who were twelve years old and below. Tabitha was so pretty, short dark brown hair that reached above her shoulders. Big brown eyes and an adorable smile; honestly Noah could never remember how she met Tabitha, but they just happen to stay friends. Tabitha didn't live too far from Nathalie's house; literally only a block away.

Noah remembers how she met Nathalie. They were in math class, and they had to sit together with some girl named Elyse (Noah hasn't spoken to her in a while) but Elyse made a joke about the projector pointing at their math teachers crotch and they all laughed. Somehow they continued to be friends. Noah and Melissa met a couple of months after, since Melissa was a year younger. But she was still a cool person.

Nathalie and Melissa's parents were cool. Or at least to Noah. They always made her feel like she was a part of their family, considering Noah's living conditions. When Tabitha and Noah got there, they went to say hello to the mother of the house who took a couple of minutes out of her day to speak to them. It was nice for Noah to know that there's a mother out there who actually cares about their child's education and not just because they want a child graduating. After the mother of the house left the girls alone, they began speaking about school and boys, that's when Tabitha outted Noah, "Noah's speaking to a really hot baseball player."

Noah just stared at Tabitha with hate in her eyes. "So?"

Everyone laughed before Nathalie and Melissa cooed, "what's his name?"

Noah sighed, "I'm not exactly speaking to him. We just, talk whenever it's necessary. Like when he needs the homework."

"Or when he's recommending her a new book to read." Tabitha said while the three of them looked at each other as if it was a big deal with their eyebrows raised and smirks on their face.
