Finding Him: Book One: Hoenn

At home

"It was amazing!" I said.
"And who's this handsome young man?" Grace asked.
"That's Ash. Kalos champion." I help my mom get her up to starters.
"So, Ash. Did you take care of my Serena?" Grace wanted to clarify.
"Yes I did. We did encounter Yveltal, turned things to stone. But I made sure Serena was safe!"
         "Wow! Stood up against a monster that turns things to stone, to keep my daughter safe?! You are definitely the one for her!" Grace thanked in a way.
"So, serena? Why is Ash here?" Grace questioned.
"Well, he didn't want to go home back to Kanto. He sort of felt bad for Bonnie, Clemont and I. because I believe after his Lumiose Gym battle, he promised us we would be together forever. Serena explained.
"Then explain Clemont and Bonnie?" Grace asked "Where are they?"
"Lumiose. We're visiting them in August."
"Oh. So, Mr. Champion? Mind if we have a battle to test you're strength?" Grace challenged.
"Sure!" Ash accepted, as always, he never turns down a battle.

A couple mins later...

"Alright, the battle will now begin between Ash, the challenger, And Grace, the... Challenger. Each will use all of they're  Pokémon until they are unable to battle! Battle begin!" Serena shouted from the sidelines.
Ash was on the left side, and Grace was on the right.

Ash's POV:

"Alright, I'm not gonna go easy on you, champ!" Grace called out "Rhyhorn, let's go!"
"Neither will I! Alright, Hawlucha, go!" The two pokémon appeared.
"Rhyhorn, let's finish this birdy off quick! Stone edge!" Grace got cocky.
Rhyhorn stomped on the ground, and brown and blue glowing spikes quickly emerged from the ground up en route to Hawlucha.
"Hawlucha, jump on top of the Stone edge and use Karate chop from above!"
So the Wrestling Pokémon did as told, and leap by leap, Hawlucha got closer, then hit Rhyhorn on the head with a glowing white fist.

"Clever! Rhyhorn! Rock blast Hawlucha into the Stone edge!"
Rhyhorn did that, and landed successfully.
"Hawlucha! High jump kick! Hit in a straight dead on line towards Rhyhorn! And don't defend!"
So, Hawlucha sped over towards Rhyhorn with a white knee cap.
Before it could hit, Grace ordered "Drill run it into the sky!"
Rhyhorn charged at Hawlucha, then hit it into the sky.
"Hawlucha! Wrap it up with flying press!"
Hawlucha then stabilized itself in the air, and spread out it's wings, then hit dead on.
A cloud of smoke covered Rhyhorn.

"Rhyhorn is unable to battle! The match goes Hawlucha!" Serena advised.

"Very clever. Let's see how you handle my Aggron!"
So then, the Iron armor pokémon appeared.
"Agg! Aggron ron!"
"Greninja, let's do this!"
"Greninja! Gren gren Greninja!"
" You go first, Grace, make the first move!"

I know where Ash is going.

"Alright! Aggron! Mega evolve!" Grace pulled a key stone out from her sweater pocket.
A aggronite appeared on aggrons forehead.
So then, Aggron went mega.
"Alright, Greninja! Let's power it up!"

"Wait, Greninja can not mega evolve!?" Grace exclaimed.
"Well, This is different from Mega evolution!"
I raised my left hand along with Greninja.
Eventually, a veil of water surrounded Greninja, and it's appearance changed a bit.
"What just happened?!" Grace was stoked.
"Greninja, aerial ace!"
"Aggron, dodge it! We don't know this things power!"
Greninja then missed.
"Aggron, Hyper Beam!"
"Greninja, hold the hyper beam off with Water Shurikren, then jump over the hyper beam and use Aerial ace!"
Greninja threw a Shurikren of water at the hyper beam, and Greninja jumped then hit Aggron numerous times with Aerial ace.
"Agg! Aggronnn!!!"
"Aggron, hang in there! Take down! Try to get a hit on it!"
"Greninja, avoid it and use double team!" Greninja hopped to the side of Aggron, then Greninja made duplicates of itself.
"Oh no... Aggron! Hyper beam around the field!"
"Agg..RON!!!" Aggron spun in circles launching hyper beams everywhere.
"Greninja! Leap over it, and use water Shurikren, then hit it with an aerial ace while it's distracted!"
Greninja did as told, and performed the highly complex moves.

Aggron fainted.

"Aggron is unable to battle, which means, the round goes to Ash-Greninja!" Serena advised again.
"Wow. How did a mega not hit a starter?! No wonder you're champion! I'll send in my strongest one! Go!"
Grace tossed the pokéball in the air.

And then, a massive and towering Tyrantrum appeared.

"Alright, Greninja, let's rap this up real quick! Water Shurikren!!"

Greninja began to form a water Shurikren. Eventually, the water Shurikren was as big as the house, and the battlefield combined.

"The more stronger and stronger we get, the more psyched up we are! And it gets larger and larger!" Ash shouted "Now release it full power!!"
So then, the ninja Pokèmon released it as told.
"Tyrantrum, use HYPER BEAM!"
At no time flat, the two powerful moves collided, but the water Shurikren was the I strong, where it forced the hyper beam to disintegrate, letting the Water Shurikren pass, and successfully hit Tyrantrum straight in the stomach.
An explosion occured so massive, if you were in space, you would be able to see it.
Smoke then covered the field up to they're heads.
It took a couple minutes for all the smoke dirt and dust to actually disappear, so till it disappeared, Serena stand at wait, waiting to see the outcome.
"Tyrantrum is unable to battle! Which means the victory goes to Ash!" Serena exclaimed.

"Impressive. Just what I expected from a champion! I could not even knock a hit on that 'Greninja' of yours!"
"Hey, mom! It's getting dark out! Should we head on in?" Serena said as she pointed out the slowly dimishing sunset.
"Yeah. Let's head in." Grace agreed with Serena's realization.

Normal POV:

So, Ash, Serena, and Grace all headed inside.
"So, Ash? When you're 18, what are you planning?" Grace asked as she sat on the lime green couch.
"What do you mean?" Ash asked as he took off his hat and set it on the couch
"Like, to make money out of? As in profitable speaking? Or whatever makes sense in you're eyes?"
"Oh, probably defend title of Champion? At least that's one of my plans. My other is probably just join the Military?"
"If Military," Grace further questioned "what branch?"
"Probably police force. I mean, I do work well with Pokémon, or just army."
The word 'Army' really dug into Serena. She thought of blood and tears, finding out that Ash is dead due to the crisis of war. But the choice of police task force, it was a better choice, at least to a lesser degree of war. But Serena more accepted the option of defending titles.
