Finding Him: Book One: Hoenn

The begging

I ducked behind a box.
I signalled Ethan to come over here. He flowed the direction.
I signalled Ethan, saying "There's a lot of them. We'll strike when everyone is ready and in position."
Ethan nodded.
Another soldier in my platoon signalled me "I'll check the field from right here behind this box"
I nodded.
I signalled everyone "You all ready?"
They all nodded.

I remembered a heroic sentence Ash told me before the assault on Sinnoh.
If we fall to our new knees, we take you to hell with us.

"If we fall to our knees, we take you to hell with us!" I shouted as I raised my assault rifle.
When I shouted, it got the attention of  the terrorists.

We all ran out from hiding, and began to fire off bullets towards the terrorists.
In seconds, 'our' landing pad was cleared.
And then, sirens rang out.

"Before hell comes to us! This is the begging of a new empire! This is our chance to take our homeland! If we fall to our knees, we take you to hell with us! Time to avenge our loved ones! Show no mercy!" I yell as I run out to the battlefield.
      On the way to the coastal line, I gun down, hit, punch, kick, or even stab Terrorists.
I noticed a big building in the corner of my eye, it appeared to have grey iron walls that were slanted going upwards like a triangle.
I continue to run forward until I was grabbed by a terrorist by the arms. I dropped my gun.
"Haha! Rebels....." The soldier laughed.
Using his embracement like monkey bars, I perform a backflip, and kick him upside the head, causing him to let go.
I then pick up my gun, and shoot him in the stomach.
I continue to run.
Then, I tripped over a rock, can causing me to fall face first into the dirt.
A terrorist picks me up, then make me face him.
"Well well well, if it isn't the Kalos queen?" The soldier sarcastically laughed.
"And well well well, if it isn't a Terrorist that about to get shot in 3...2...1..." I pull the trigger of my pistol, aimed at the soldier head.
"BTW, look down."
When the soldier looks down, he says my gun. And that was the last thing he saw.
I was almost at the Coast Line. Then, a Terrorist behind me was chasing me.

"Oh. Hello. How are you today?" I ask the terrorist.
"Good. But it's gonna get even better once I kill you, rebel."
"Yeah, well... Hate to say it... But... It's opposite day..." I say as I shoot him.

Wow I'm amazing.
I continue to run down the dirt slope, then onto the sand.
I run down the sand.
Out of nowhere, a mechanical robot comes from behind the wall.

"Oh what the hell..." I mumbled.
"Rebel, freeze!" The mechanic robot orders.
"I will!" I surrender to the robot as I slowly grab a claymore from my back satchel.
I throw it into the robot.
The robot looked Ike an ogre, just made of iron, it was 20 FT tall, it appeared to have one eye.

I then press a button, that makes the robot explodes.

Must. Continue...

Up ahead, I see a broken waterline gap in the sand.
"Looks like something just blew it up..."
I see a body.
There is no enemy's around... Good...
I crawl over the the body, and slide off the helmet.

I saw the Z marks on his cheeks.
"Ash!" I exclaim in joy, even though I know he's dead.
I hug him.
I notice a metal ball bead on his neck, with a oval silver tag.
"Ash's dog tag..."
The words echoed in my head.
Even if you don't them, if they're on you're team, and they're dead, take the dog tag.

I snatch his dog tag off his neck, then put it in my pocket.
  "Ash... I'll avenge you..."

"Why, hello, Serena. Is it?"
The voice startled me due to its sudden appearance.
When I looked behind me, it looked like a Terrorist, actually, it was. Just different from the others.
The other terrorists whore all white and they're entire helmet was black, this one was taller, a deeper voice, and all black.
"Who are you, and how the hell do you know my name?!" I stuttered as I took two steps back.
"I am the founder and the cause of all this heartbreak. And the reason why you made that video? I am Tyzaxo! Say... Who's that man behind you?"
Tyzaxo snickered.
"You monster! You... You... You are responsible for the lives of hundreds of thousands! And one of those lives was my husband, Ash Ketchum! You are a cold hearted monster!" I yelled.
        "Me, a monster?? I'm not a Monster. I want a better world!"
"By killing people?! How is killing people helping?!!?"
"I was getting rid of the ignorancy of some people."
"Liar!!" I yelled.
"Nobody in this world is ignorant except you and you're army! Human and pokémon belong in this world! You have absolutely no right to take our loved ones just so you can make a better world for yourself! Because this world is already beautiful! But with you here, causing terror, burning buildings, bombing innocency, we find you as a disgrace for what the nine regions represent! Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Jatius, Tyas, we all represent differentiation! You are not that! You are a disgrace to the nine regions!"

"Brave little girl... No wonder why nearly 1,000 puny men and women stood beside you... You want to put up a fight, hm?"

"I'll do anything to protect what I love, and and to help protect the nine region symbolism!" I dropped my guns, and knife.
I punched the man.
"Pathetic." He was not affected.
The man punched me to the ground.

"I will never give up!" I shouted as I got up again, and hit him in the arm.
"Adorable... It's cute on how hard you try to kill me."

I picked up my pistol, then took aim.
But instead, the pistol disintegrated.

"Serena! Watch out!" I hear Ethan's voice as I hear a barrage of gunfire.
Tyzaxo fell down.
"You killed him..." I mumbled.
"No, I didn't. He was put to sleep. There's no time. See that wall?" Ethan said.
"Yeah? What about it?"
"In a hour, that thing is gonna blow. It'll be so big, it'll blow up all of Hoenn."
I went wide eyed.
I grabbed Ash, and my weapons, and ran along with Ethan.
"What about the Terrorists?" I asked.
"The rest of them are on the other side of the region, we won't have enough time, we killed as many as we could.

I heard a "Pop!" Sound. I looked to the landing pad, and it was a signal flare.
         In a couple mins, a plane was here to pick us up.
Once all of us got strapped in, I put Ash's head on my lap.
"Pilot! Punch it! Hoenn is gonna blow soon!" Ethan said.
The plane got faster and faster, until it was fast enough to get in the air.
The plane rumbled like an earthquake.
Once we were leveled. Everyone aboard sighed in relief.
I unbuckled my seat belt, and set Ash on the floor, where I then kneeled down next to him.
"Don't worry, Ash. You'll be fine." I caressed his Raven hair.
"So does this mean we liberated Hoenn?" I asked.
"Yes and no. Yes because there's no more Terrorists. No because we'll have to terra form Hoenn, at least the broken parts. But aside from that, Hoenn Liberated." Ethan claimed.
"Which one next?" I asked.
"Let's do Kanto." Ethan guessed "But we have to wait until we're ready.

(This was the drop ship)
"Serena? Who's that? One of the soldiers ask.
"This is Ash."
"No way! Like, THE Ash Ketchum?! The Kalos champion that has a mysterious Greninja!? And that beat Diantha's mega Gardevoir?!"
"Yes. That's him alright.But, he's-he's gone now..."
"Oh...I'm sorry."
"No, no it's okay. That's why I'm here in the army, to avenge him."
"Oh."

Don't worry, Ash. I'll bring you back home.

I'll avenge you. I'm not done with this job of mine.
         
            I'll finish what I started.
