here's to the chapter I've been wanting to write since starting this fanfiction :)

PROM

Today was the day, one of the many that could only happen once in a lifetime. You had to make every second of your night worth it.

I was sitting in the kitchen, with my bathrobe on, looking into a mirror while I did my makeup. I had done my hair at a hairdresser. The bottom of my blonde hair was fell in curls over my shoulders. At home we had put a nice pin in it to keep unneeded hair out of my face. I was doing my mascara when I heard someone coming downstairs.

"Oh my darling you look so beautiful! And you haven't even put on your dress yet." my mum said, on the verge of tears.

I put the brush back in the tube. "Mum, it's okay to cry. Just, don't have an emotional breakdown about how pretty I'll look when Caspar is here, okay?" I said, smiling.

"Oh that's right! Caspar is coming! I'm going to take so many lovely pictures of you two!" she said, clapping her hands." she went back upstairs. "I need to look for my camera! and sweetie, come upstairs if you're ready because your dress is hanging on a clothes hanger, it's waiting for you to be put on!"

I did my lipstick when Trevor came downstairs, crossing mum and looking back at her. He pulled out the chair from under the table across from where I was sitting.

"So. Prom, huh?" he said.

"Yup." I answered, checking my lipstick in the mirror.

"You must be excited. It's a cool thing."

"It is. How was your prom actually? The first one." I asked, hoping it didn't sound too harsh.

He laughed "The first one was pretty awesome, but I didn't go the second time, remember? Why would you go with people that aren't even your original friends. It was my last year, so I didn't care about making new friends. The girls loved me though, they thought a guy who failed his finals was hot and awesome."

"But at least you had a good time during your first one? Right?" I asked to which he nodded.

I did my final touches of makeup and went upstairs to my room, and found my beautiful prom dress there. I was standing there when my mum came from behind me with her camera in her hands.

"Oh, you're going to look so lovely. Let's get you in that dress."

*a moment later

I stepped in my dress and pulled it up to my chest. "Mum? Will you do the honor of pulling the zipper up?" I asked my mum. I saw her having tears in her eyes as she came closer to me.

I turned around, feeling like an actual princess, even though I wasn't completely ready yet.

"So beautiful! So so so beautiful!" she said as she turned around me with an amazed look on her face.

I put on the jewelry and my heels. I was ready to go. I was ready to have one of the best nights of my life, looking like a character of a Disney movie.

I grabbed my purse with all of my needs and went downstairs. I took my shoes off while walking down on the stairs.

"wow sooo pretty!" Justin said with his mouth open.

"Honestly, between us, if you weren't my sister, I'd probably want you to be my prom date." Trevor said.

I laughed "I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or not."

It was 19:50, Caspar told me he'd pick me up at 20:00. I still had 10 minutes to do things before heading out.

"I need to take pictures of you in this beautiful dress Jenna! Only one night that I get to see you like this." she took her camera and made me stand infront of the door. Pictures alone, with my brothers, and with mum while Trevor took them.
