Chapter 36

Next I had English.

I always loved English.

But this time I didn't.

The teacher wasn't there. But a geek managed to open the classroom with nothing more then a body pin.

We all went inside. I sat alone at a table in the back of the class.

Carter stepped on the chair, on the desk of the teacher.

"I want to announce something." He clapped.

Everyone putted their attention on him.

"This year. We're going to celebrate new year at my place. Tell all your friends about 'Carter's big new year party'." He said and everyone started to clap and cheer.

"Man, we'll catch you." Tom said and he and Jason held out their arms.

"Okay then, trust fall." Carter said and he fell bavkwards off the desk.

At the end. They all fell on the ground.

"Dumbasses." I murmured and I chuckled.

I probably murmured too hard because Tom looked at me from far, and walked over to my desk.

"What did you just call us ?" He asked.

"I called you dumbasses." I proudly said.

All the attention was on us and some people started to laugh. But after that, complete silence took over in the classroom.

"How dare you can call us dumbasses ?!?" He asked now angrier.

"Oh I'm not afraid of you, your ugly fish face and your stupid gang." I said, now standing.

He slapped me really hard on my head.

"Says the loner girl with her only loner friend." He laughed and the whole class laughed except for Sara and Carter.

That was it.

I am so sick of this guy.

I jumped on him and we both fell on the ground, me on top of him.

I placed both of my feet on his arms to make him stop moving.

"FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT !!!" Everyone yelled.

I kept throwing punches at his ugly face.

"C'MON TOM SHOW US BLOOD !" Jason yelled.

"UR STRONGER THEN THAT BITCH !" Cassandra yelled from behind me.

"TOM BE A MAN !" Someone else screamed.

Nobody cheered for me. But I didn't care.

My knuckles were covered with blood and his face too.

I think i'm done.

I stood up, and I spat on his face.

"Fuck you." Were the last words I said.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE ?!" My English teacher yelled.

Everyone went silent except for Cassandra who had to open her ugly mouth.

"Jenna started to punch Tom for no reason. We tried to stop her but she ignored us." Cassandra said with a sweet voice.

"It's all true. Tom did nothing to her. She just started to punch him." Jason helped.

Sara didn't help him.

"Jenna. You are one of my favourite students so I wont send you to the dean. But I will punish you in a different way." The teacher said.

No song no song no song no song no song no song no song. Please don't let me sing a song olease don't let me sing a song.

"You'll have to sing a song for the whole cantine." He said.

" Ohhhhhhh" Everyone said.

"If you fail, You will have to go to detention and a letter will go to your parents. If you don't fail. Nothing will happen." He said.

This was the weirdest teacher ever.

On a normal school I would have already got detention.

"Jason, go with Tom to the nurse."

He went to a closet and came back with a rock guitar.

"Don't ask about the guitar. I heard that you can play guitar." He said and he handed me the instrument.

"I hope you know this song. Because I won't change it."

"Go and sit down." He commanded and I went to sit down with his guitar.

"We already lost half an hour of this lesson."

"And Jenna, you stay with me after the lesson."

This was the worst thing that I could expect.

I texted Caspar during the last 15 minutes.

J: Sorry, I'm not coming with you to the cantine :'(

C: Why not ?

J: I need to sing a song for the whole cantine because I punched Tom.

C: Oh. That sucks.

J: And I need to walk to to the cantine with Mr. UghIhatehimfordoingthis, my English teacher, to the cantine.

C: Good Luck with singing :-)

J: I'll need it.

*DING DONG

"Jenna, you stay here." He said.

Everyone went out of the classroom, it was just me and him.

"I'll let you hear the song one time." And he clicked on 'play'.

Dude.

I was lucky because...

This was my favourite song.
