Chapter 2:The Frail Cats

The Tom came up to me, but looked as if I would've tapped him he would fall down. Now that I looked more closely at the band of

misfit cats, they all were deprived of food, water and nutrients.

"You look like you need some help." I said while I took to his side and helped him over to the leaders den.

"Ah, hello Featherflight. And may I ask who is this?" Firestar asked me.

"My name is Shadow." The Tom stated calmly. *Shadow...* I thought. *the name doesn't ring a bell. Of course, now that I'm in the

book I must've changed the entire thing from this point on and who we meet, but it will most likely go with the plot of the books.* I

finally figured out.

"We need help. But we wish to stay in your clan for a little while, Firestar." Shadow continued. "We're weak, starved almost, and in

need of shelter and water."

"I will allow your group to stay, but you have to get healed and after you heal, you must help hunt."

"Yes, Firestar." Shadow called as he walked to his group to tell them the news.
