Willows POV

It turns out that it's not a very good idea fall asleep outside with no source of warmth on a winter day. It resulted in me getting a high fever of 100.9 degrees. And let me tell you, it's most certainly not fun staying in bed all day, unable to move.

But I guess it's the result of me skipping school."Kira" I called as loudly as I could, voice hoarse. After waiting a moment, and no response I decide to try calling her again. "Kira!" I call again, the crack in my voice hopefully catching her attention.

After a few minutes, I heard her feet pounding up the stairs. "What do ya need?" She questioned, her head hanging inside the door. My smile started to grow. "Could you go and get me some ramen from Ichiraku?" I asked, smiling sheepishly.

Kira almost turned down my need, but once she saw my puppy stare, I knew she was going to obey me. "Fine, I'll back soon." She sighed. And with that, she was out the door.

With all of the strength I could muster, I pushed myself up into a sitting position. I poked my legs out from under the covers and was hit with immediate chills. I pull my legs back under, and reach for my phone.

(20) Texts from Kiba

I sighed loudly debating whether or not I want to read the texts from Kiba. Deciding against it, I unlock my phone and call "Mommy".

The phone rang for a few moments before she answered. "Good morning sweetheart. How are you feeling?" She questioned, her kind voice bringing a smile to my face. "Morning mom. I'm alright, can't decide if I'm hot or cold, but other than that I'm fine." I rasped out.

"That's good hon. I need to go though, I have a very important client waiting on the other line." She said, her voice still kind. "Alright mom, I'll talk to you later." I said, voice raspy and barely audible. "Ok hon, I love you, talk to you later, buh bye." She spoke quickly, making it hard for me to catch what she was saying. "Love you too, bye mom." I said, and ended the call.

The texts from Kiba were urging me to open them, so I did.

By the time I finished reading them I felt the pain in my heart. Oh how I want Kiba, but he hurt me. I felt my eyes start watering so I immediately stopped thinking about him.

I heard the front door open and close and I knew it was Kira. But I heard yo sets of feet padding up the stairs. Suddenly, Naruto and Kira were standing in the doorway with three bowls of ramen. "NARUTO!" I screeched, sitting up as fast as I could and spreading my arms wide open.

He started walking towards me and say down on my lap and gave me a hug. I groaned loudly since he is very heavy. "Naruto. Get of me." I said breathlessly. He laughed slight before rolling onto the other side of my bed.

"Aren't you supposed to be at school right now?" I questioned Naruto. He turned his head toward me. "Naw, remember on Wednesdays I have early out." He replied. My eyes widened. "What the heck." I said, and rolled over to grab my phone.

12:45 PM The time read.
"What the heck I thought it was only 8! What is life?!" I whined in exasperation. They both looked at each other and started laughing.

"Anyways I saw Naruto at ichiraku's, so I thought I'd bring him along." Kira said, a smile on her face. I nodded my head, and threw my hands out, like a child wanting a snack.

Kira rolled her eyes and handed me and Naruto our bowls. Naruto sent me a playful and challenging look, and I immediately knew what it meant. "Kira, count us off." We said in unison, turning towards each other. I could physically feel her rolling her eyes.

"One, two, three, GO!" She shouted, sending Naruto into the race of who can finish the ramen first. When I was almost done, I choked on a noodle, giving Naruto the chance to win. "Haha. Boo Yah! I won like always!" He cheered, and I was laughing at him because he looked like a fool.

Spending the day with Naruto and Kira helped distract me from Kiba and Sasuke and all the crap that's going on.

A/N: Yay! I updated! I'm gonna try to update and post another chapter within the next few days. Don't give up on me or this story yet, I just need time to update.
