Mountain Trip (Part Two)

Willow's POV

I ended up spending the rest of the day relaxing because Itachi insisted that I do so. "After all it was a pretty big fall." He had said. We all were in the girls cabin watching movies. We watched about 5 movies altogether, but I didn't pay attention to any of them; I was too busy trying to decipher the emotion that had flashed in Naruto's eyes after my fall.

It's now Tuesday, and we planned to sled on the large hill on the other side of the street. Once again, I was the first one up, but I didn't make food for anyone today. I dug through my suitcase, and decided to wear a pair of black fleece-lined leggings with a pair of blue jeans over them.

Gotta stay warm, ya know?

I pulled out a black knit sweater, and grabbed the same parka I wore yesterday. I went into the closet in the master bedroom, and grabbed a pair of snow boots. When I got downstairs, the girls were up and about, trying to find what they were going to wear.

While they were still getting ready, I decided to go into the small garage that we store firewood, extra water, some blankets and pillows, tools, and sleds in. I started pulling out some sleds to have them ready for when we go out. I grabbed about 5 sleds, and pulled them back into the cabin, trying not to knock anything over on my way out of the cabin.

I couldn't see anything since my line of sight was blocked by the sleds. "EH! HELP! HELP! SASUKE IS GONNA KILL ME!" I heard Naruto shout, and the next thing I know, the sleds go flying behind me, and I'm on my back, nose to nose with Naruto.

"Baka! Why'd you use up the rest of my conditi- AH BAKA WHY ARE YOU ON TOP OF MY SISTER?!" Sasuke exclaimed, and Naruto sat up, sitting on my stomach, causing me to die inside. "Eh teme, I'm sorry! I forgot my conditioner!" Naruto wailed, and I struggled to breathe. "Eh Naruto, can you please get off? Your kinda heavy..." I heaved softly, poking him in the side.

He looked down at me, and realization flashed in his eyes. "AH I'M SORRY WILLOW-CHAN!" He shouted, and jumped off of me. 'Finally, I can breathe again' I thought to myself as I sat up and picked up the sleds. Sasuke rolled his eyes, and whacked Naruto on the back of the head. "Since dobe is an idiot, I'll help you with the sleds." Sasuke scowled as he took three of the sleds from my grasp.

I followed him out of the cabin, and saw everybody ready to go. "Eheh, Lets get this fun time started, believe It!" Naruto exclaimed, and grabbed a sled, and darted off to the hill. Everyone sighed, and followed him.

We all have been racing each other for a while, and most everyone went back to the cabins, but Naruto and I. The look he had given me is still consuming all of my thoughts.

"Eh Willow after a few more rides down, do you wanna call it a day?" Naruto called over to me. "Yeah Naruto, sounds good," I called back to him. We raced each other down about 2 more times. Naruto left his sled down at the bottom, and followed me back up.

"Why didn't you bring up your sled?" I asked as we got to the top of the hill again. "Just figured this could be our last run for the day, and we can just use yours." Naruto answered nonchalantly. I nodded in reply.

I sat in front of him, and he wrapped his arms around my waist so he doesn't fall off. "You ready?" I questioned, turning my head to him. "Believe it!" He grinned, giving me a thumbs up. I nodded, and pushed us down. Right at the bottom of the hill, the front of the sled got stuck in the snow, and both Naruto and I rolled off. He landed on top of me.

I started laughing really hard, for some unknown reason. I felt someone looking at me, so I stopped my laughing, and opened my eyes. I found Naruto staring at me with a look of admiration in his eyes. A small smile grew on my face. "What are you looking at?" I asked, causing him to smile at me. "You." Is all he said.

I laughed again. "Ahaha why me, I'm just a bowl of potato salad!" I exclaimed. Naruto started shaking his head. "No you aren't, your beautiful, like a rose." Naruto said, causing me to stop laughing and look at him. "What?" I asked softly, genuinely confused.

"Willow, I like you, a lot. Hell I might even love you! I know, it's sounds crazy, I mean, you and I are god siblings! But ever since you came back from France, I haven't been able to get you out of my head. So I made it my goal to try to fill in the space that Kiba ripped from your heart." Naruto stated, a blush forming on his cheeks. I was at a loss for words. What could I say?

"I-I-" I was interrupted by Naruto placing his soft lips on mine. He had his eyes closed, and mine were wide open. I couldn't bring myself to close them, because I don't feel that way about Naruto. I pulled away from the kiss and sat up. "Naruto, I don't know if I am capable of returning your feelings right now. M-maybe sometime I'm the future. But not now." I said softly, noticing the somewhat sorrowful look appear in his eyes.

"Willow, I-I'll wait for you! However long it takes!" Naruto said, a look of determination crossing his features. "Naruto, I can't put you through that pain. The pain of waiting for me I mean. It would hurt you too much, and I couldn't put you through that pain." I said softly, pulling Naruto into a hug.

I felt Naruto nodagainst my shoulder. "I'm sorry Naruto, I'm such a bad person." I said quietly. "It's okay Willow, I had a feeling this would happen. And your not a bad person at all!" Naruto said. "Oh Naruto, I don't deserve having you in my life. Let's go back to the cabin." I said softly, pulling out of the hug, and pulling Naruto up.
