I continued on with the rest of my day making sure everything in my office was perfect; ranging from how the room was set up to the way everything was arranged on my computer. This is where my OCD kicks in, yay disorders!!
As it got later in the afternoon, I started to hear a group of three guys talking in the area next to me, quite loudly I might add. I wasn't able to hear their full conversation but I was able to pick up the phrase "Well we have to shoot today, so what are we going to do?" Shoot today? Let's hope they're talking about shooting a video. Then again, from what I've seen from these guys, I wouldn't count anything out.
There was a loud sound of exclamation, then the rushing of footsteps. I saw Matthias skid to a stop in front of my office, almost doing the splits in the process.
"We need you!" I raised an eyebrow at Matthias as I replied with "Come again?"
"We're about to shoot a Team Edge video and we need a judge for the challenge we're doing."
"What's the challenge?"
"The Animal Noise challenge, come on it will be fun. Plus, you get to see us act like a bunch of idiots."
I couldn't help but respond with "Sure I'll help but isn't that you every day?"
"Ha ha, very funny. Come follow me." I got up from my desk, then proceeded to follow Matthias to the left where there was a giant warehouse-like space. One chair had been set up behind the camera, whereas three were stationed in front. J-Fred and some other guy were in the process of setting everything up when we walked in.
"Violet's going to be our judge!" Matthias called out towards the guys, who both picked their heads up to look at me. That's Bryan in the red shirt, and you know J-Fred" Bryan quickly waved and said 'Hello' before turning back towards the camera.
"Of course I know J-Fred, he's the reason I'll be picking glitter out of my hair for the next twenty years!" Both Matthias and J-Fred let out a laugh.
"You're welcome!" I rolled my eyes at Joey. Why do I have a feeling he's just going to be a pain in my ass?
Matthias instructs me to sit in the chair behind the camera, and within a few minutes, everyone else had taken their seats in front of the camera. When they were all ready, Bryan gave me a signal to start recording, so I did.
"Today we are doing the Animal Noise challenge, if you don't know what that is, it's where we are given an animal noise and we all have to do it," Joey said in one breath, which caused him to start coughing hysterically towards the end.
I couldn't help but respond with "Don't die, I'm pretty sure none of us know how to do CPR." Matthias and Bryan started cracking up with laughter as Joey continued to cough.
"In case you didn't hear her, that's Violet. She will be judging us all harshly." Matthias told the camera. "Let the challenge begin!"
The first animal noise they had to make was a dragon. All of them couldn't get through the noise without laughing hysterically. Even then, it sounded like they were all choking on something.
"Wow, all of you were terrible." I found myself saying.
"But you've gotta pick someone." Matthias hinted towards me as he raised an eyebrow. "I mean we all know who sucked the least.."
"Fine, Bryan's was the better of the worst."
"Yes!" Bryan cheered as he did a fist pump in the air.
"Wow, I see how this is going to be Violet. Just because I glitter bombed you earlier." J-Fred had challenged me with a humorous glint in his eyes.
