Kiaan stared up at the clock as his last period teacher kept rambling on about Islam and why it was true. Only five minutes of this torture left Kiaan thought to himself. He had always been a skeptic of the claims of the faith he was raised in but had came to the realization that there was no evidence to back such claims up at quite a young age. The sunlight from the window his desk was seated next to hit the back of his head while he sweltered from the lack of air conditioning in his school. He heard the dinging of schoolbells and managed to snap out of his daydreaming as he walked outside of his classroom following behind his classmates. Kiann walked down the plain hallways, filled with religious posters and decaying walls he found himself to a quiet set of stairs. He walked down into the school courtyard, filled with beautiful flowers and even it's own water fountain where he would eat his lunch most days. He appreciated the blissful peace of being around barely anyone and hated crowded spaces or being the center of attention. Kiaan walked to the front of the fountain and found a half broken coin right in front of his left foot. He picked up the two pieces of the coin with just two fingers and held them in his palm. One showed heads, the other tails. Kiaan stared into the streams of the water fountain and remembered being told as a child that it's good luck to make a wish and throw change in a fountain. Under his breathe Kiaan barely muttered "Love" under his breathe as he threw the coin into the fountain and exited the school.
Kiaan found his way to one of the supermarkets in his rural town he lived in. Adorned with colorful posters, beautiful music and the delicious smells of imported foods Kiaan found himself swept away. Kiaan had always had luxurious tastes even though he was extremely poor. As an orphan at four years old, Kiaan had quickly learned how the world truly worked. The powerful exist to prey on the weak while the weak exist to be preyed on by the powerful- at least that was what Kiaan found from his experiences of having to hide his religious beliefs and his sexuality from practically his entire world as a gay agnostic atheist in a country under Sharia law. Kiann found an alleyway with no people in view and climbed up to the top of a building by hoisting himself up from window to ledge to rooftop. Kiann walked to the edge of the roof and looked down at all of the people attending the supermarket- he saw men holding Korans and shouting at festival-goers, children chasing each other playing tag in their worn down clothes- he recognized them as peasants, women with high income and all sorts of people attending the gathering. Kiann scoured the vast marketplace and fixated his eyes on one target that he recognized- The Queen of Saudi Arabia, Sara Abad.
Wearing a silky purple dress and attended by several armed escorts Sara was completely above the law, no hijab, vast amounts of skin exposed, cleavage and not being accompanied by a man. Kiann thought to himself that she could take off her dress, put on a 12 inch strap on and fuck every man, woman and child in the marketplace and get away with it should she want to do so, because of her power as queen. Kiann watched out of sight as people stepped out of the way and got on their knees to make way for the queen along with her escort. Two peasant children wearing rags were playing tag while the rest of the market-goers kneeled, almost in their own fantasy world-oblivious to the dire reality they were in. Queen Sara was standing in front of a stand selling foreign fruits, directly below the building Kiann was watching from when one of the peasant children playing tag slipped on a rock and somehow managed to tear off part of The Queen's dress while not recognizing who she was. The child tried to run away but the queen grabbed the child by the arm before she could run away. The entire marketplace was completely silent, you could practically smell the fear seeping from the citizens watching. "Do you know who I am little one?" Sara asked with a forced smile on her face, staring directly into the child's eyes as she asked. The little girl shook her head and Sara's grip tightened around the girl's arm, her smile retracted and a look of disgust across her face showed.
"Oh, little one. I understand, truly I do. You must need a reminder of who I am." A smirk creeped across the lips of Sara Abad as she gazed into the eyes of the child. "You need not worry, I will make sure you never forget who I am in your entire life." Sara released her grip from the child's arm and whispered "I am your queen, Sara Abad. Do you recognize me now?" The girl nodded her head and made eye contact with the queen. The queen whispered something into the child's ear and then ordered her escort to restrain the girl. The girl tried to run off but was too slow, two bulky men held her tiny, bony arms, preventing her of having any chance of escape. Kiann watched fiercely as The Queen slowly made her way to the small peasant girl and pulled out a knife from her diamond encrusted purse and whispered a command to one of her guards that wasn't holding the girl. A man of medium stature walked backwards and held open the girls mouth as The Queen took her blade and removed the girls tongue with a sadistic grin on her face as the girl squirmed and screamed and kicked while it was removed. After completely being removed the queen stepped backwards and released the girl, watching her heave and pant over the ground while hacking up blood seemed to give the woman and her goons pleasure. Kiann suddenly noticed that shadowing the queen was a courtier of her husband, King Mohammed Abad's lowest courtier, Ahmad Abbas. Kiann appreciated the sheer beauty of the man and found himself getting quite flustered. He noticed among Ahmad's face was almost an empathetic look for the peasant girl who lost her tongue.
"If I haven't already made it clear enough already, I am Queen fucking Sara and you degenerate trash would do well to remember it. Anyone who ever forgets my name or bothers me will be met with a much worse fate than that little peasant cunt who just disrespected me. You lot of scum would do well to remember that." Sara shouted among the crowd of bystanders, not one of which uttered a response apart from the words "Yes your grace." to the queen's speech. Kiann felt sick to his stomach after watching the vile act performed by the Queen of Saudia Arabia to an innocent child and felt his eyes begin to water. He watched as The Queen and her escort made their way back into the limo they had taken to the market. The car drove off but Kiann noticed the courtier, Abad had stayed behind. Abad watched as the queen left and quickly ran down an empty alleyway where the peasant girl had crawled off to. Kiann jumped to another roof where he could watch Abad while staying hidden out of site and saw Abad put a finger to his mouth and placing a vast amount of money, enough to buy the entire supermarket and much more in the little girls delicate hands as he scurried off, mysteriously. Kiann felt a strong feeling of hatred towards the mere thought of the queen and her cruelty. He muttered under his breathe "I will murder the queen even if it takes my entire life in doing so." as he walked to the slums he called a home.
