Something Missing

Uh-oh, I did it again dad is going to be so mad when he gets back home. (I broke his new car window sheald)

I guess it's up to Google to give me an excuse this time.

"Honey, I'm hom--BRANDON!!! "Shouts dad

"It wasn't me it-it was the neighbor's cat, Mr whiskers, she was playing football." I explain.

See what happens when I use my own excuses.

"If the cat chooses an apple over sausage then it broke my window sheald, if not your grounded!"

Guess who has to wash the dishes for the next two months (without using the dish washer ).

As I go to class,I slip and land on a jock's girlfriend Leslie.

She smiles and politely greets me, " Hi, Brandie."

Ewwww! What did she do to my name!

"Hi." I greet back as I get off her and help her up "I'm so sorry, Leslie I di--"
"Hands off my girlfriend, Brandon! "
"Don't have to tell me twice." I mumble
"What was that, Brandon, I couldn't hear you,  could you try saying that to my face? "
"Nothing."I reply
"That's what I thought."

I hate bullies! As they leave, Leslie blows kisses at me then I catch them and throw them in the bin.

"Well that's not nice, Brandon."says a familiar voice from behind me.
"Hi, it's Amber, right? "

"Hi, Brandon, yes and please tell Amy to come meet over some lunch, oh and do you know anything, well......nice about your sister she's not very easy to talk to"

"Well she dyed her hair black....."

" Really?  What is her actual hair colour? "

"Blonde."

"Really! Im blonde too, why did she dye her hair? "

"People made blonde jokes about her a lot."

"Well she's a vegetarian so atleast she helps saving meat for other people......."

"Thanks but I don't think that's why she's a vegetarian."

"Well I'm her brother so I know better ."

"Fine. Since you know more what is her favorite colour?"

"Ehhh....."

"Are you kidding, what about favorite food?"

"Ehhhh......."

"Never mind, forget I asked. "She smiles and walks away.

I finally get home (late, I was playing video games at my freinds house.) I switch on the lights on and find mom on  sitting on the couch, she must  have been waiting a long time as she has dark circles she is wearing her pyjamas and obviously half asleep.

"Hol-Hold it right there young man (yawns)." Her speech is slow and you can tell she has been planning what to say.          " You are grounded now go down to your room and sleep! "
What a terrible day!
