Something Missing

Amber

While we are on the way to fetch our DNA results me and Amy get hungry and so we stop at a donut shop  and order some donuts.

We get there and the docter makes us wait an hour and just before we leave he stops us and the DNA results come out positive.

I just didn't understand what we had just been told and I was angry and happy all at the same time. This meant that Amy's parents where my parents. Unless they where not related to us.

We go back to my house and ask my mom to come to Amy's house and she drives us to Amber's home.

We find Amy's dad and show him the results he takes us into the living room and asks the maid Margaret to prepare us a snack while he fetches Amy's mom.

"So are we twins? " I ask
"I guess so but, im also Brandon's twin sister so we might be triplets." Replies Amy

Amy's dad comes back with Amy's mom and my mom. They all sit down and we wait patiently for an explanation from them. Amy's dad begins to explain.

"Amy, Amber, I am very sorry for what I did I really am, but when your mom was pregnant we went to our doctor to ask if the babies were ok but we didn't ask how many babies or what their gender was so all we did was check on how you were doing.

We only had one doctor because we trusted him to never fail us. Then when you were born your mom almost died so they took you two to the room were babies  were taken if their moms had difficulties.

I didn't want to watch as your mom passed on so I went with the doctor who took me to the room were you guys were in he said I would be able to tell which is mine by the number on your bracelet.

He left me there as he was taking care of mom and then I realized we had twin baby girls.

I was not as grateful as a father normally would and right next to you was a very beautiful boy and I had always wanted a boy so I swapped your places and realized that wasn't going to work.

So I swapped your bracelets too. I am very sorry everyone for what I did, Brandon isnt your brother."

Everyone in the room was shocked but  not Amber's mom.

" I'm sorry but that's not the full story I am very sorry but Brandon is. You are triplets. "

"How do you know. " Says dad

"Well my husband was doctor  Herbert.
When you were pregnant you went to get a check up every week in the hospital.

He realized you had triplets and we were struggling to have children of our own we were going to adopt but it took a long time trying to adopt one child and then you happened to give birth in the process.

Then my husband saw the boy and thought he was a very beautiful baby and that he could never find any other like him so he stole him.

He was very smart so he didn't just walk out of the hospital with him he gave him a  different bracelet.

So he didn't know what happened but then someone swapped the bracelets and he ended up with a girl. He was still fine with the girl because she was beautiful.

He came back home with the baby and I asked him were he got it and he said he stole them from the hospital.

When I wanted to call the cops he promised to pin it on me and I knew he could even do it in his sleep.

I am sorry for what he did and for years when he wasn't looking I have been looking for the family who owned the girl but he covered his tracks."

Hi  there, I guess you didn't expect that did you? This has been the longest chapter and I will make the next chapter the most different and the best chapter. I am even thinking of narrating it.
