No one would have ever imagined Liz would possess such magical power. Everyone recalled her as being a weak, mediocre and talentless wizardess. Everyone except Klaus. He knew she could leap through time, communicate with animals and, with proper training, she would be able to do much more.
The next morning, Klaus woke up at home. Elias knocked on his door early in the morning, holding a newspaper.
"I think you should read this." Elias said, staring at this brother pale as a ghost. He proceeded to hand him the piece of paper and left the room.
Klaus sat on his bed with trembling hands. The newspaper's cover had a huge headline that read
"GEDONELUNE ROYAL ACADEMY DESTROYED BY MISTERIOUS WITCH"
An unknown witch, mounted on a dragon, destroyed the prestigious Gedonelune Royal Academy. The ceremony of graduation was being held at that time when an unidentified, probably foreign, wizardess on top of a dragon caused a huge fire, risking the life of hundreds of students and their families. While everybody was busy trying to evacuate the building, she managed to overcome the barriers that shielded the Tower of Sorrow and set the Dragon of Time free, which caused the Three Mages to rush in. Unfortunately, the three of them were killed in the battle, with only one witness: Conrad Schuyler, professor of the Academy, who is currently being held by the Ministry of Magic. According to him, the Dragon of Time was being controlled by said witch, who took him out of it's petrified state. The ability to communicate with magical creatures is a rare condition, only a few wizards are known to have it, which gives the Ministry a clue regarding the identity of this woman. The Dragon, Schuyler said, is now back in the Tower of Sorrow, but this cost the life of Headmaster Randolph. He used all of the magic power in him to lock the Dragon again, but not like last time. Instead, he fused their souls together and trapped them in a physic object –the Ministry didn't want him to give out more details- but such object is now being guarded in the tower of sorrow.
Headmaster Randolph, apart from being the Academy's Headmaster, was one of the Three Mages himself but also held within him the soul of the Third Mage. Now they will both guard the Dragon of Time for all eternity. Sadly, the First Mage periled while trying to hold back the intruder. This fact brings both sorrow and fear, as this unknown wizardess was able to defeat one of the Three Mages himself.
Although this woman seemed to vanish into thin air, The Ministry has declared that the criminal will be captured soon and Gedonelune is in no danger, so people should avoid panic. Nevertheless, they have now doubled the guard on the Tower of Sorrow with over fifty official wizards, some of them being recruited from the Royal Guard.
Klaus put the paper down, still shaking. He was both astonished and broken hearted. How was it possible that such a pure, sweet and innocent girl was corrupted like that? What was the reason that made her pursue revenge? Why on earth hadn't she talked to him? Why did she run without saying a word?
He was furious now. He realized now that the reason she didn't want to be found was because she was planning to destroy the academy. All this time she had been training who knows where for an evil purpose, not to become a tamer.
Then it came to him. He was going to find her. He would join the Ministry of Magic and capture her. Then, Klaus grabbed his cape and wand and ran down the stairs, ignoring his mother's inquiries as to where was he rushing so early in the morning.
