After the Storm

That day the church was filled with the whole Goldstein family, friends and even some members of the Ministry of Magic. The second son of Walter Goldstein was getting married that day, and no one wanted to miss the celebration. Four years had passed since the dark wizardess Liz Hart had died, and Gedonelune was at peace again. Klaus had been awarded by the King himself and was named Chief of the Ministry.

He was standing on the aisle, waiting impatiently for his soon to be wife to come. He looked around and saw his father, who nodded at him. His younger brother Elias was also there, along with his older brother. His mother was next to his father, smiling brightly and a little tear-eyed. Suddenly, the door of the church opened and everyone turned around. There stood Klaus' fiancée, a beautiful young lady.

Her long black hair bounced softly with every stepped she made. She had sparkling green eyes, and a pale complexion that enhanced them perfectly. Klaus couldn't stop looking at her. She was stunning. She stood next to him and grabbed his arm.

"Now..." The priest cleared his throat "We gather here today to join Klaus Goldstein and Elizabeth Jones in holy marriage..."

The priest's words remained distant on Klaus' mind, who was filled with joy. After everything that had happened, he was now marrying the love of his life. A sudden arm movement from his fiancée woke him up from his daydreaming.

"I said Klaus, do you accept Elizabeth Jones as your legitimate wife?"

"I do." Said Klaus firmly.

"Elizabeth, do you accept Klaus Goldstein as your legitimate husband?"

"I do." She replied, in a soft and sweet voice.

"Now I shall declare you, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

And with a loud cheer, their lips sealed in a faithful kiss.

That night, Liz jumped on the bed, with her wedding dress and heels still on. Her black hair turned brown, and her eyes returned to their natural red color.

"I can't believe we did this!" She said, moving her feet with glee.

"Yes, but...come on, such a powerful and smart wizardess and you couldn't pick a more discreet name? Elizabeth? Really?"

"Oh, come on Klaus! I like it! No one will suspect. Not from you at least, now that you are Chief of the Ministry."

"It's all thanks to you. Are you sure you can disguise for such a long time?"

"Oh, dear...I can do much more."

Klaus smiled and embraced his wife. "I know,bunnyhead. I know."
