Chapter 2

On our way home we stopped a few times but mostly we just drove through. On the way back Stell road with Sara and I road with Theresa. It was ok, I just slept most of the time, but finally, we got home. It was between 7 and 9 pm when we got home and we were all tired so we just got everything out of the car. We weren't going to get anything out of the camper but we ended up getting everything out that night.

The next morning when I got up I was the only person awake. I went to each and every room and everyone looked like they were dead. So I just did my chores and then I checked into the agency. "Hey, anything new? Did you just get in?" asked Gavin.

"Nothing much, I just got in last night. Sorry that I didn't check in, I was just really tired."

"That's totally fine we just needed to know when you got in so we could call you in for a meeting. We've been waiting for you to get back so you could be here too."

"Oh ok, when is the meeting. Hold on I think someone just got up." So Mimi looked around the corner and didn't see anyone. She started walking toward the back rooms when she heard another noise, so she slowed down and since her bedroom door was open she ducked into it. Slowly she peeked out of her room and Stell was right there. "OMG you scared me I thought that you were a ghost or something!!!" she whispered angrily.

"Sorry," she said with a scared face and a frown looking like she was about to cry, "you scared me too!" she whispered as a tear rolled down her face.

"Oh I'm so sorry," she said wiping the tear away, "what are you doing up anyway?"

"I was thirsty and as I started coming out here to get a glass of water and heard someone talking so I went to hide in the bathroom and knocked the straightener off of the sink when I went to put it back and heard something and dropped it on accident, then I started to walk down the hall when you peaked out of your room."

Mimi pulled her into a hug and whispered into her ear, "It's fine and I'm sorry I scared you, are you ok?"

Stell sniffled and said, "Yea I'm fine," she smiled and said, "thanks."

"Ok I'll get you a glass of water, you just go back to bed I'll be right there."

"Ok, thank you" Stell went to bed and Mimi went and got her a glass of water. As Mimi was walking down the hall when she heard Stell talking to their mom and sister.

"Did you do what we asked?" Sara asked.

"Sort of...." Stell said trailing off.

"What do you mean sort of?" Sara asked angrily.

"Well I heard her talking but I didn't hear what she said sorry."

"Urgh, fine but we need you to stay by her side 24/7." Do they suspect something? Why do they want her by my side 24/7?

"And how am I supposed to do that?"

"Just hang on her and at night just say that you're scared and ask if you can sleep with her."

"Urgh, fine, but what if she finds out?"

"She won't I promise and if she does then we'll have to figure out what to do with her." Wait for what? What the heck is going on? What are they going to do to me if they realize that I heard them? I should tell headquarters and see what they think about it, but for now, I'll just have to not let them know that I heard them talking.

"Ok fine just you two go back to bed I'll get onto it" Mimi heard that do she swiftly went into her room and hid in her closet and waited until she heard Sara's footsteps fade. Then she went out of her closet and went to Stell's room.

Shaking Stell she said, "Hey, wake up I have your water."

"I was never asleep I was too scared to fall asleep, can I go sleep in your room with you?" Stell asked hopefully.

"Yea sure come with me."

"Thanks!!"

"Anytime, just come on I'm tired."

"Coming," she called after Mimi. They went to Mimi's bedroom Stell drank some water and we both went back to bed. After about 10 to 20 minutes Mimi looked over to see if Stell was asleep and she was. Mimi went out to the kitchen to call headquarters but when I went into the kitchen Theresa and Sara were both standing right there talking, so instead of calling headquarters I just walked in yawned.

"Hey what are you guys doing?"

"Oh, nothing just talking, oh and do you know where Stella is? She wasn't in her room when we woke up and we thought that she might be with you." Wait why would they ask that if they were the ones that told her to stay with me 27/7? Do they not want me to find out or catch on? What do they think of me? Nevermind all these questions I just have to find a way to talk to headquarters.

"Oh, yea she was scared and asked if she could sleep with me so I let her."

"Oh ok just making sure."

"Yea that's just fine, oh and can I watch TV? I woke up earlier and did my chore when Stell had asked to sleep with me."

"Yea sure!"

"Thanks!!" I got a glass of milk and a bowl of cereal and went to the living room and turned on the TV and DVD player. Once it came up and loaded, went into the profile, and started watching The Originals.

"Oh, yea we forgot to tell you the first meeting since you guys joined is tonight."

"Oh yay! What time is it?"

"It's at 6 pm. Are you excited for the first meeting?"

"Yea totally!!!"
