Once I left the stadium, I went too Russia while my brother and trainer went back home. I needed to show I'm good at skating to. But the lessons I was being taught, I hated them. The dance instructor, Lilia Baranovskaya, was teaching my some difficult moves that Yurio didn't get. The coach, Yakov Feltsman, kept yelling at me. He kept saying "Get those moves to perfection or you will be kicked out and on your own!" to me. I'm convinced both of them are trying to kill me or make me numb. But they are doing this so I can get it down and get a perfect score.
"You must be very good at ice skating. It must run in the family." I looked over to see Yurio walking over to me while I was packing. "No not really. Yuri is the only one who liked it then I did. But he only taught the basics to me before he left for the competition." "So it's more betrayal from Yuri too you?" "If that's the term you want to use, then yes." I got my stuff and went to the hotel I stayed at. But it felt lonely there. But I heard two familiar voices, that apparently didn't come to my appealing. I heard a couple of knocks on my door, then hear Yuri. "August, please open this door." I get closer to the door but didn't go near the knob. "Why should I. You betrayed me when I was little and I needed someone to teach me the routine I got." "Just open up." "Fine." I opened the door and I get greeted by a smiling Viktor and a depressed or angry Yuri. "Just mind Viktor, he gotten drunk while we stopped for something to eat." "Uh huh. Shouldn't you be home and enjoy the attention?" "So that's the problem! That's why you competed?! You beat me to show our family you have what it takes too be a skater?!" I flinched at his anger, but I stood my ground. "Yes! I've waited for you long enough to know you will never train me and continue this career of yours, so you can be alongside with Viktor! I watched you every day too see you progressed and when you came home, I knew then and there our family will be happy when you step through that door!" I lowered my voice after that statement, so I would disturb the other people. "And when my score was high enough to move on or win. I was happy myself and shocked for my family. Because I snuck out of the house behind you, and followed you until I was with Yurio." After I finished speaking, there was only silence. But Viktor finally gotten out of his drunk moment and drank some water I've gotten. "What did I miss Yuri?" I looked back at Yuri and watched him sit on the bed. "Yuri," I tried getting his attention, but at least he is hearing me out. "Yuri, the only reason why I'm doing this because, you were role model next to Viktor as well. That and my knee surgery went well so I'm gonna do the routine again and see how it goes." I stood in one spot but what Yuri did, I wasn't expecting. I gotten a hug from him, which was rare for him to do that. "Just be careful. And if you were kicked out, we are family and we stay together and work together as a family. Love you August."
I watched them go to their room which was the room below me. Once I left the hotel, I was greeted by the three hard headed people. "Come on girl! Get in the vehicle or we'll be late!" I rolled my eyes and gotten into the car. "You mustn't be disrespectful to them." "I'm sorry but I'm one human being with a name and skating skills. I'm here too get better and not blow my knee out again." The moment we stopped talking in the locker room, the more I was thinking about what Yuri said about family. "Yuri, I won't give up. Not on you. But on these guys." I got the ice, and started skating. Only one mistake but I managed to recover.
When the day was over, I went to Yuri's room asked if I could join his team. I get a smile from the both of them. "I already told Yurio that I was leaving. But not going home or joining you guys." We gotten some food and talked for a little bit. "One thing I miss, is everyone at home." "Ah so you must be home sick. Yuri, were you like that before?" "Yea a little. But I went home after I didn't qualify." We went back to our rooms and decided to leave in the morning.
When the plane finally landed in Tokyo, and when the three of us got off, it was already my birthday. But no big surprise for me, but the big surprised is when we got a new furry animal, and it sat next to Viktor's dog. "Happy Birthday August." "Thank you. Where's dad?" "He's making dinner right now." "Why don't you three go too the sauna." "What? No I'm good thanks mom." Just the thought of being in one sauna with two boys, it makes me feel uncomfortable. Plus other guys would be a little awkward. "Oh alright dear. Happy 19th birthday, August." "Thank you again mom."
I gotten to my room, to make sure no guy or family member follows me. I wanted to sleep, but with the new cat purring while sleeping, didn't help my situation. I moved the cat onto his bed, and covered his cage so there's only darkness. "August you awake?" "Viktor your supposed to be asleep and you to Yuri!" "Sorry trying to get Viktor in his bed so he doesn't bother you." "Well get him out of here or just put him on my floor. Make two beds and fall asleep in here." He did what I said, and it was quiet and we fell asleep and woke up around Lake morning.
Why are the boys sleeping in here? I don't recall them coming in and sleeping in my room.
