When I got into the house, by the time I fell asleep, I woke up to two nitwits staring at me. I yelled at them, trying not to hurt my leg at the same time. "Oh good your awake, time for breakfast." I just stared at Viktor without saying a word. "What's for breakfast?" I reached for my crutches while the two were talking about breakfast. "Pancakes with fresh fruit and tea." "Oh that's sounds great. I'll because making it Viktor." Thank god our mom came into play before I almost lost it. I quickly kicked the two out, and got changed. "So since August can't skate, you and I are gonna practice while she is giving us the brand new moves." I looked at the plans, and it seemed reasonable. Viktor also chose out my outfit without me knowing he went into my closet.
"Gee thanks Viktor for going through my clothes." I said that sarcastically that he didn't hear me. When we gotten to the rink, the two started the routine, and I gave commands. The only thing is, is that they don't know how to do my one move that I always end up failing at! "Cmon guys, your better than me, and yet your not able to do that move?! I'm in crutches because of that move!" I watched them lay on the ice, panting and complaining their limbs hurt. "I can't believe that I'm seeing this from two good skaters." I said that under my breathe and I saw the two get back up and start the whole thing. "August how do you do the one move?" I looked at my move and I told them, and finally they got it. When they came to me, they were sweating and I gave the water and food from the house. "You guys did it, but let's see if you can do it at that one tournament that's in the next few weeks." The two looked at me, like I'm some crazy person. Well if they are gonna do a mash up with both mine and his, they have a lot of work and I'm gonna help them. "So that's it for today, right Viktor." "Yes Yuri. We did good today, but tomorrow we will work extra hard at the routine."
By the time we got home, most of the time was staring at the stars till one of us fell asleep. And that would be Yuri and Viktor. Needless to say, I had to drag them behind me on the way home. "Ugh you guys are so heavy its not funny." I plopped them on the floor in Yuri's room, and finally got to mine, but I past out in my clothes. When my alarm went off, I went to the rink and watched the two practice. "Awh your finally awake. Good there is fresh coffee near my stuff, just for you." "Thanks Yuri. Wait what kind?" "Frappe mocha." I smiled at the answer and went to get the coffee. When I got back, they were close to the end of my piece.
"Great job guys. Although Yuri, you need to get the one move down. Instead of coming in at the same time Viktor does, come here a little earlier than he does. Then it gives you enough time to get the routine down." I felt confident about today, not because of the coffee, but when I saw the two do such a great job, it gave me confidence about getting back on the ice till I'm healed.
HEY ITS ME. But you know what its true. I need a little confidence boost that sometimes I need to think I can make it. With my injury I have at this moment, I know I can heal before I even know it.
But your also wondering 'Where's Yurio.' Don't worry. He will show up soon. And by soon, I mean now.
"Awh splendid work. But not enough for the routine I have in mind." Happiness is gone because of him now. "What do you want Yurio. Obviously your weren't here a moment ago and now you are." I saw him give me a evil look and snapped at me. "Well, if you give me a chance! Then I will show you on this dvd." Yuri's friend popped in the dvd, and all of us watched it. But he grabbed the wrong one, because he wouldn't stop spazzing the forward button. "Damn it. I brought the wrong one." "Wait you were crying while you were training in Russia?!" I started laughing at the video I saw that I couldn't breathe. "Its not that funny." When we stopped and looked at each other, I broke the silence. "Alright Yurio, get out now. Viktor and Yuri get back on the ice, and I'll guide you through the miss placements." When the two listened, Yurio wouldn't stop staring at my leg. "Why are you doing this still. Why can't you accept the fact you can't skate for awhile." "BECAUSE I LOVE SKATING! I WON'T GIVE UP UNTIL I DIE OR TOO OLD TO BE ON THE ICE ANYMORE!" I went to the edge, still feeling Yurio staring at me. When I spoke up, I was calm again. "Why do you even care. When your gonna be going up against us in the next few weeks." I heard him leave the building, and I went back to studying the placements. When I finally memorized everything I brought the book home, and made it easier for the two to understand. When I got done, I showed the two. And by their expressions, it seemed to be quite simple for them now they see it broken down into one step at a time. "August, you seem to have it down even though your new at this type of thing." "Well once you notice a couple of things from different skaters, you learn. Even from the famous ones." I gave them a smile, and we continued to talk about the whole thing until night time when we gotten to the ice rink.
