7:30

The school gates opened, allowing a foot in black shoes to step in the school grounds. Saki was first to enter. She was on her phone, looking at some photos in her gallery.

Miya's chocolate eyes scanned the halls. A few students were present, it being so early. The person she was looking for, not in here. She speed-walked past the lockers and ran all the way to the yard. Aha! There, sitting alone on the fountain, was her friend. She tucked a rebel strand of hair behind her ear. Surprisingly it escaped her thick ponytail.

"Andrew! You weren't there, son of a bitch."

He looked up from his phone and plastered an all-knowing smirk on his face.

"It's more fun when you look for me."

Saki walked out of the library with a satisfied smile. The student trekked into the girls' room and tied her brown hair into a low ponytail right under her right ear. It was thirty minutes before class started.

A right turn from the bathroom led to the locker section of class 3-A. Marc and Jessica's class. As expected, Marc was sitting at the foot of his locker listening to music while doing homework due that day. Saki took out a pen from her backpack and sat next to him. His pale hand reached to the earbud on his right ear and took it out. Saki started doodling on his math equations while solving them.

"I can do those myself, you know."

"Yeah, but it's all the more fun when you do them with me."

8:10

"Shit!" Ben cursed, as he ran into the grounds of the hellhole called school.

"Benjamin, you forgot your backpack!" His mother called out from the car. He cursed under his breath as he ran back as fast as his skinny legs can carry him. He was going to be late again.
