Consequences (an Erwin x Mike fanfic)

Loud screams erupted from the basement. Mike was crushing Erwin's feet with a sledgehammer, ignoring the stupid screams from his husband. No matter how badly Mike hurt Erwin, he never took him to the hospital, even when it was needed most. Erwin was horrifically thin, due to only being fed two pieces of bread and scrambled eggs for the whole day. He slept in the cold damp basement of Mike's house and only to be let out occasionally to do work around the house, like making dinner or doing dishes. Erwin's hands and legs were tied together at all times, not to be untied unless Mike did so on his own. Currently, Erwin was in the corner vomiting due to a sour stomach. Did Mike care? No. Would he ever care? No, probably not. Mike got such a kick out of seeing his husband in pain, and Erwin never tried running away because he loved Mike too much, and he knew Mike would go absolutely insane without his human punching bag. He had recently ran out of his medication that kept him 'sane', and that scared Erwin, knowing the beatings would become much worse until he got his medication. "Erwin~" Mike called out sweetly to his lover, holding a bat in hand. "I have a surprise for you~" Erwin looked over at him, scared for his life. "M-Mike please.. don't! I'm begging you please!!" Then, a hard hit in the head with the bat. "Strike one~!" A hard hit to the chest. "Strike two~!" and one to the legs. "Strike three~! Your out~" Mike chuckled as he watched Erwin collapse to the floor, face and bat covered in blood. "I'll be back later to, 'check up on you'" Mike then dropped the bat and walked out of the basement, the door slamming behind him.
