The day hasn't even started and Katsuki already felt left out.
She was able to attend Ouran on a scholarship. Chairman Suoh and the rest of the school board was amazed with her entrance exams, they were the highest in the history of Ouran.
Katsuki wore a thick hoodie that read "supreme" in a red print and black joggers. Her long golden brown hair was stuffed into a red beanie. She had contoured her face in an almost professional way so she would appear more masculine; you would never guess Katsuki was truly a beautiful girl under her boyish disguise.
As she got closer to her new school, her anxiety took over her.
What if my plan doesn't work? What if they see right through my disguise? Katsuki thought. She hopped off her skateboard and picked it off the floor. Girls in fluffy yellow dresses and boys in periwinkle vests were filling up the court yard.
"Just look at your feet, avoid eye contact with everyone," she whispered to herself. "If no one knows who you truly are then no one can touch you."
Thump!
"Oh no! I'm sor-" A young woman with red shoulder length hair and blue-gray eyes hovered over Katsuki, who was belly down on the pavement. "Never mind, Its just a commoner."
"Ayanokoji-san! What happened?!" The girl's friends exclaimed.
(A/n Ayanokoji is the girl from the 1rst ep. who was jealous of Haruhi bc Tamaki was giving her attention)
"A peasant boy got in my way," she scoffed.
Katsuki brushed off her clothing and picked up her board. She tucked stray hairs that fell out during the fall back into her beanie. She glanced over at the group of girls and they froze.
"Ayanokoji-san," her friend muttered. "Look at his face!"
Katsuki chest felt as if it was caving in. Did they find me out? Did I not put enough makeup on? She thought.
Ayanokoji looked up. "What about it-" She stopped. Ayanokoji's cheeks flushed with a bright crimson color.
"He's so cute!" Her friend giggled.
Katsuki was relieved that her disguise worked, but her unlucky encounter with Ayanokoji brought attention upon herself. The only thing that came to mind was for her to run. Katsuki ran up the large polished steps and into the large building.
"Just go to Chairman Suoh's office and avoid contact with another students," Katsuki murmured to herself.
The walk to the chairmans office felt long and tiring to Katsuki.
Katsuki struggled with the door. "Dammit Ouran," she whispered. "Why must these damn doors be so complicated and heavy!"
The door finally opened and Katsuki awkwardly walked in. "Struggled with the door?" Chuckled Chairman Suoh.
"Haha, yeah," replied Katsuki, in a forced deep voice.
"Oh Katsuki," The chairman laughed. "You don't need to pretend with me, I'm fully aware of your situation."
Katsuki let out a sigh of relief. "You know, I have another student who also had to hide her true gender, she's in the same year as you too!" Said the chairman. "She entered on a scholarship as well. But the reason she had to crossdress was for a completely different reason. She had broken a vase that belonged to the host club and had to work off her debt."
"Oh my, it must have been tough for her," Katsuki said.
"Oh no! From what my son told me, the host club took a great liking to her and they became great friends."
"Your son was in this club?"
"Ah yes, he got along so well with the girl they ended up falling in love! Isn't that hilarious!"
"I guess its a little funny" smiled Katsuki.
Chairman Suoh pulled out a manilla folder filled with paperwork. "Katsuki," he began. "I know what you've gone through must have been very traumatic. We at Ouran will do what we can to make sure you are comfortable."
"Thank you Chairman Suoh."
"Its amazing how you managed to enter Ouran without your mother's money, I'm positive she is very proud of you." Suoh reached out and handed Katsuki the folder.
"I hope your stay at Ouran is the most pleasurable, we are honored to have you work with us"
