Everyone was depending on my decision in able to survive, which worried me.

'why the heck are you guys depending in me! Im 13!!'

but my thoughts didnt change anything. I was still there, being pressured into making a life or death decision.

My brain's gears were turning, and I knew exactly what to do.

"Everyone! In the car!!" I yelled. No one hesitated. They all ran for the car out by the cirb and got in, my dad driving, since he had the keys.

"Where do we go!" my dad asked, eyes focused ob the road.

"Make a turn up here." Ashley said, pointing to the intersection. After a few moments of silence, Ashley motioned a 'stop' sign and dad pulled over to the front of the house. In five seconds a black cat came running out of the house, drenched in blood. Ashley ran out, grabbing her cat in one hand and walking towards the door. A 14 year-old boy ran out of the house in tears as we all stared. He ran and hugged her, then whispered in her ear. She immediately burst into tears herself and fell to the ground. The tears were inaudible, but we could still feel how heartbroken she was.

It was getting dark and Ashley had finally stopped crying. We all understood how sad she felt, losing both of her parents, but even Elizabeth didn't cry when her mom and brother had died.

I could tell everyone in the car was half asleep, even my dad, whose was driving. But it was a surprise to everyone when a shadowy figure appeared in front of the headlights. Dad steered off to other side of the road, causing everyone to yell in a startled chorus. Mom got out of the car to investigate the scene.

"Oh my god! It's her!" Vani rushed out of the car and (pretty much) pounced on the girly figure. It wasnt until the figure moved into the street light's gleaming that I recognized who it was.

It was Tammi, Vani's 'future girlfriend.' Tami's two dads were very protective of her and wouldnt let her date till' she was 16. So she promised that she would go out with him at that time.

Elizabeth gave her an evil eye, probably wishing my dad had hit her.

"My parents!! There dead!!" She screamed as loud as she could, sending a shiver up my spine.

"Shhh!!" Elizabeth put her finger to her mouth and looked around, frightened.

"It's okay, you can come with us!" He squeezed her till' she started gasping for air.

"Uh... Julian... Can I talk to you for a second?" My dad called me over.

"I dont think we have enough room for..." he pointed at the girl. "Her..."

I was confused. "What?! In the car? Dad, we can just make roo-"

"No." He cut me off. "In the group..."

I understood him, but was annoyed- maybe even afraid- of his quickness to make life and death desicions. Kinda like how Elizabeth had almost killed (had killed) the little girl on the sidewalk.

Another scream came from the crying Tammi.

"Shh!!" Elizabeth made the same look from last time.

"See! she's not strong enough!"

Another scream. Another Shh!

"We need to leave her!"

Another scream.

"We cant just leave her to die!"

Another Shh!

"We dont know if she'll die."
