Me and Masahiro sat in the car on our way to the opening of the newly renovated orphanage. After our visit there before I left for home the house had been attacked by mold and we decided that we would give them money to renovate it. Now it was finally done and it was time to re-open it. It was now April and I'm fully gone with my pregnancy so now we just waited for our baby to pop out. A kick to my stomach made me smile and I took Masahiro's hand and put it on my stomach. I looked at him and he smiled big. He always did that when he felt the baby kick and every time I felt just as happy.
"Not so much longer" He said.
"No it isn't" I said.
The car stopped and Geoffrey opened the door to us.
"I will come and get you later" He said.
"Yes thank you" Masahiro said.
The car drove away again and we walked over to the back were all the children played around. When they noticed us everyone came up running begging to touch my stomach. They all touched it and some of them even got to feel the baby kick. When they did they screamed in happiness. Mrs Jonson came up to us with a big thankful smile and hugged us both.
"I'm so thankful you're both here" She said.
"We wouldn't want to be anywhere else" I said.
Mrs Johnson smiled and then gathered all the children in front of the glass door. The doors opened and we all went inside. The dining room had become bigger than the one they had before and there was two big tables instead of one big. All the children sat down on their spot while we waited for the clock to turn one. It soon did and Mrs Johnson stood in front of the table.
"Now the clock is one and the re-opening of our home will start" She said. "I expect you to behave accordingly during the ceremony. Do you understand?"
"Yes mrs Johnson" They all said and we smiled.
"Good then let's go out."
All the children rose from their seats and we went out from the back and walked around to the front. There was full of reporters and people waiting for us. The children stood on the sides of the band and me and Masahiro stood in front of it. Mrs Johnson stood beside the band with a big smile.
"Welcome everyone the the re-opening of the Celestal's orphanage" Masahiro said. "The house has been totally restore during the last couple of months and can now give every child an own room."
Everyone applauded and Marcello came up with a scissor. He gave to Masahiro and I took a grip on it too.
"The orphanage is now opened" I said and we cut the band.
Suddenly it felt like my stomach contracted and my legs felt like gelatin. I put my hand on the wall and the other on my stomach. It felt hard like a rock and suddenly I felt something running down my legs. Luckily I wore a dress so it wasn't visible but I saw Masahiro giving me a worried look. He ran over to me and I let go of the wall. I put my hands on his shoulder as a new contraction came. Masahiro sighed out of pain and I let go of his shoulder.
"Call an ambulance" I whispered to him.
"Why?" He asked and it felt like I wanted to cut out his throat for his stupidity.
"The baby is coming."
His eyes widened in surprise and he took up his phone.
"Mrs Johnson can you hold Aiko for a moment" He said and mrs Johnson came up to me.
She took my hand and Masahiro walked to the side calling the ambulance. I looked around trying to think of something else when I noticed that everyone was looking at us. Mrs Johnson seemed to notice it too because she gestured Marcello to come to us.
