(Now, Rose and Clark are 26 years old)
Rose walked down the hallway to her office at the Daily Planet headquarters where she worked as a reporter. She had grown over the past few years from a young girl to a beautiful woman. She fell in love with books when she went to school so she decided to be a reporter for her career. Rose walked into the lobby and said to the manager at the desk in greeting "Hey, Noah." Noah said as he waved at her "Hey, Rosie. Did you have a good weekend?" Rose replied as she got closer to the elevator "It was great! See ya later!" Noah shaked his head with a smile and thought 'Oh boy. I wonder why guys aren't coming to her feet begging for her?' A few minutes later, Rose arrived at her floor of the building and walked towards her desk. Lily, one of the janitors, gave her a cup of sweet tea. She said to Lily "Thanks, Lily." Lily replied "Have you checked the most dedicated worker of the year board?" The young blonde haired woman stared at her friend curiously and walked towards the board. She looked at the words above 'The Most Dedicated Worker of The Year' and then her eyes fell onto the picture, as one thought ran through her head. She was the most dedicated worker of the year?! How was that possible? Sure; she did her work and turned it in on time, got along with everyone else. And never got into any fights or arguments with anybody too. But how was that possible?!Her thoughts were soon interrupted when she heard people complaining and whining. Rose shrieked as something or rather someone bumped into her causing her to spill her tea onto her nice, new shirt that her mother gave her a few days ago. A very familiar voice said frantically "Oh, my, God! I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going! Wait a just a second. Hold the phone. Rose?" Rose said as she hugged her childhood friend aka Clark "Clark? Oh, my, gosh. I didn't know you worked here!" Clark smiled sheepishly and said "Well, uh.... it's kind of a long story. But, hey! Good job on winning the 'Most Dedicated Worker of the Year' reward. I've been kinda working for that reward over the past few years." Rose whispered with a smirk "It doesn't intimate you, does it? Not one bit?" Clark whispered to her teasingly as they walked into her office "Oh, it makes me so mad that I want to fly home right now." Rose rolled her eyes playfully and said "Where have I heard that before?" They stared at each other and laughed out loud like teenagers. Clark said as he and Rose hugged each other "It's good to see you again, Rosie." Rose replied "You too."
