Clio's P.O.V
The rest of the week and weekend was overly boring. It was just rainy and dull. On Saturday, Bella dragged me out to the town's library – which had absolutely nothing. On Monday morning, I got changed into a grey chunky sweater, light grey jeans and some brown heeled boots. I grabbed a coat as I noticed that it had started lightly snowing. I put on some natural makeup and some gold hoops and my Apple watch – which indicated I had a text message from Bella. I found my phone – which now had a case that said 'she believed she could so she did'.
(A/N: C = Clio, B = Bella)
B – Plz get 2 school soon. I'm being surrounded by people!!
C – I'll vamp-speed to your rescue;)
B – The Cullen's r staring @ me. Come quick!!!
I rolled my eyes at her dramatic text and vamp-sped to Leslie to drive to school.
I met Bella in the car park, where people were greeting her like she was a celebrity. She looked at me with desperation in her eyes. Time to make at show, people, I thought to myself before I got out Leslie. I noticed the Cullen's looking my way, so I just gave a wink to Jasper before strutting my way to Bella, swinging my hips. Bella gave me a look full of gratitude while I took her arm and dragged her into school.
It was now the start of third period, which in my case was History. Detective time, I thought to myself. I casually walked to my seat, trying not to cause any suspicion in his mind. I pretended to trip over the chair leg as I walked to sit down, causing me to 'accidently' grab Jaspers wrist – which was as cold as ice. As soon as I grabbed his wrist, he became tense and rigid. "Stupid chair leg... Sorry Jasper." I said while I took my hand off his wrist, acting like I was a flustered human. What can I say? I'm 1000 years old – I took Drama class... "Why are you so cold? Are you feeling ok?" I continued with playing an oblivious human. "I'm fine Clio." He replied with gritted teeth, annoyance lacing his voice. I gave him a look of concern but didn't say anything else. I could tell he was feeling uncomfortable. The bell rung, indicating that class was just starting, and the teacher got up. "Class, today we will be doing a project about The Tudors." Groans echoed around the classroom while I smiled in my head – I knew The Tudor family personally back in 1500s. "Now I know that The Tudors are English history, but I want you to get a broad education of history from other countries....." The teacher blabbed on and I zoned out until she clapped her hands together, making most of the class jump and put their attention back on her. "Now, your partner will be the person sitting next to you. This project will be your end of term grade, so I advise you to take it seriously." The whole class groaned again and Jasper, who was going to be my partner, had a slight scowl on his face whilst looking at me. I gave him an innocent smile that could fool anyone and turned my attention back to my thoughts. The teacher droned on and on about the project until the school bell rang. Jasper quickly escaped the classroom while I smirked to myself. Time for step two.
Bella and I stepped out of the English classroom with Mike, the boy that was hit on the back of the head with a volleyball that Bella threw. That lesson we did a pop quiz on Wuthering Heights and we were discussing what we thought of it. As we walked outside, the air swirled with white flecks – snow. "Wow, it's snowing." Exclaimed Mike, excitement in his voice. I smiled as the snow flickered past my face but Bella had a look of disgust. "Ew" She said and I rolled my eyes. She had never seen snow in real life, but she hated rain and the cold, so she would probably hate snow. Mike was hit on the back of his head with a snowball and while Bella was distracted, I picked up a chunk of snow and threw it at her face with human strength. She squealed loudly and gave me a glare as she picked snow out of her hair. Baby, I thought and being the mature person I am, I stuck my tongue out and flipped my hair.
I noticed Edward, Jasper and Emmett having a snowball fight whilst the girls, Rosalie and Alice, watched. "I'll be back in a minute Bella." I said to Bella, who was still worried if she still had snow in her hair, and walked over to Rosalie. "Hi, I'm Clio. I'm new. You're Rosalie right?" I said to her as she looked at me with a surprised look at first but then covered it up. "Why are you talking to me?" She asked me, probably still surprised I introduced myself to her. "Because I can." I replied in a 'duh' tone, rolling my eyes. I saw from the corner of my eye that Emmett was aiming a snow ball at Rosalie, so I quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her to the side. "Wha-" She was stopped when a snowball flew past her, centimetres from her face. Emmett looked annoyed that he missed her, but Rosalie gave me a small smile of gratitude. "Hey, um, sorry for being rude earlier. I'm not used to people approaching me." I smiled at her. "It's fine." I replied before I picked up some snow and turned it into a ball. "What-" Rosalie started but I put a finger to my lips, telling her to be quiet. I aimed it at Jasper, who was throwing snowballs at Edward and Emmett. The snowball soared through the air, before it hit Jasper right in the face. He spluttered and looked around while Edward, Emmett, Rosalie, Alice and I were laughing. His eyes narrowed when he saw me and he gave me a glare whilst Emmett came up and high-fived me. Same cold skin, it could be from the snow but still, interesting... I thought as our hands touched. I blew Jasper a kiss and smiled before I walked away. Leaving the Cullen's in awe - annoyed in Jasper's case.
