I was sitting in a chair in my mansion when my phone rang. The mansion lied near the sea, but there were a few meters down to the beach. I picked up my phone and looked down at the unknown number. "Hello. Elizabeth Edwards talking". I spoke into the phone, wondering who it was. "It is Steve McGarret speaking. You left your number on my kitchen table, thought I should give it a call". He said quickly. "If you want to talk you can come to sky villa **" I said without thinking, almost cursing when he said he would be there in ten. "What have I gotten myself into?" I asked myself and banged my head against the wall, regretting it the moment my head made contact with the wall.
Before I got time to cancell on him, he had showed up outside of my door. I did not care that he was seeing me in a white tshirt and sweatpants. I let him in and watched him turn right for my kitchen then right through it and into my training room. He stopped and looked up at one of the walls that were covered in pictures of my family and of course my mate. Not that he could figure out I had a mate though. "You have a close relationship to your family, I see". He said, looking at the photos. "The wall is to honour them and to show how much I love my friends. My family is dead". I replied as he turned to look at me.
"You forgot to tell us you were a cop". He suddenly spoke up, making me chuckle lightly. "Well, I am in a special force back in UK. Something along the lines of your team, Commander". I said, waiting to see how he would react. He did react normally, although he looked amused. "You know if you ever need my help, call me yeah". I did not think he would be this helpfull or showing me friendship at all to be honest. "That mean a lot, Steve. Never thought I would actually hear those words come out from your mouth". I joked lightly, pulling him in for a hug. He patted my back lightly as we hugged. I do not know why, but I found myself nuzzling my head into the crock of his neck.
Steve had called his friends and told them to meet him and I down at the beach below my house, not that they knew where I lived. "I going to change before we head down". I announced and walked upstairs to my room. I did not bother with shoes, picked out a black bikini. I then went over to my closet and found a floral summer dress. I ran back downstairs and joined Steve on the walk down the beach, not that it was that far anyway. His friends showed up quite fast, which gave us a great opportunity to start as soon as we could. I stayed back while they surfed, observing their moves as I was not a fan of surfing. I liked to challenge myself, but not surfing. "Hey come on, the water is refreshing". Kono called, I just looked at down at the water. "Eh...surfing is not my thing". I said calmy not wanting to get either of them to make me try the sport. I kept myself at a far distance each time they tried to take me with them to the water.
Time came for me to say bye to Steve and the rest of his friends. Told me to meet him down with Kamekona later. I did not know who it was, but I was just going to search him up. "Give me a call and I will volunteer to help you at any time". I whispered in his ear, before I made my way back to the house.
