Emergency Call

Steve Pov:

Steve sat down at the Shrimp Truck along with his friends. Kamekona came around the corner as Elizabeth showed up too. She was wearing light jeans and a red hoodie, that Steve had never seen her wear before. She took the open seat next to Steve, who welcomed her with open arms. Not that they hugged or anything, but they said at least "hello" to each other. Elizabeth gave a short wave to the rest of Steve's friends that she had learned to know. "The concert was amazing!". Grace, Danny's daughter told Elizabeth who smiled back. "Did you take any photos?" She asked Grace and let Grace show her all the pictures. "

While Danny and Steve were mocking Elizabeth by taking her phone it started to ring. "Commander Dawson". Danny said, before he handed the phone back to Elizabeth who licked her lips before she answered. "Agent Edwards to your service commander". She said, listening just as clearly as the rest of the table tried to do. "Yes, I am his emergency contact. Is he okay?" Elizabeth tapped her fingers on the table to calm down her nerves, Steve observed. "Where is he? St. Thomas, St. Mary or?" She asked quickly. "Okay. The Royal Marsden Hospital, I know where that is. I will be there tomorrow night. Call his family, they live in Cheshire! Okay, bye". Elizabeth hung up and looked at Steve. "I need to go". She said, before she ran to her motocycle and drove off.

"What just happened?" Kono asked looking at where Elizabeth had been seaten a few minutes ago. "Seemed like it was serious. Anyway Commander Dawson, is an English Navy Seal". Steve turned his head to Chin looking puzzled. "I guess neither of us have heard of him, because he is from United Kingdom. Probably where Elizabeth went too". Chin added as Kono pulled up her phone. "The Royal Marsden Hospital lies in London, England". Kono said and watched Steve nod.

"I am going to head back home". Steve said and said good bye to all of his friends. Danny, Amber and Grace followed after him back to be sure, because they knew that he had bounded with Elizabeth and they had made great friends.

Stepping inside his house, Steve knew Danny had followed him. He went for the kitchen grabbed a beer and sat down by the lanai. Danny took the seat next to him and looked over at his partner. He was quiet, more than he used to be. "Steve, your phone buzzed. It is a text from Elizabeth". Amber said as she made her way over to him. "Could you just read it up?" Steve asked and nodded at Amber.

"Hi Steve. I am sorry I had to rush out on you like that. I really wanted to say good bye to you in another way. Take care of your friends while I am gone, Grace too. Anyway when Commander Dawson called, I thought it was just another mission that I would help out the English Navy Seals with, but I was wrong. You see, my mate was hurt and brought to The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, England. I am on my way back to Heathrow now, took the first plane that there was. (Commander Dawson is my uncle, told me about how it was in the Navy). Promise you that as soon as he gets better, I will take him with me back to Hawaii. Want you all to meet him, I have not seen him in almost six years. Love you all take care!

Ps! I left a little present for Grace in Danny's kitchen.Lots of love E.K.Edwards" Amber read up and looked over at Steve then at Grace. "She will come back". Grace said and smiled big.
