Evolution: Sequel to Corbrina

The New Year

It's been a wonderful first year with Corey. Turns out, being married isn't as hard as I thought it would be. He still treats me like a queen.
"Hey babe. When do you have to go to work?" Corey runs his hands through my long, blond hair.
"Actually I'm off today." I wink.
"Me too!" He kisses my cheek. I turn to look right into his eyes and I kiss his nose. He smiles and kisses my lips. I kiss his lips too.
"I love you so much B."
"I love ya more Core." He "boops" my nose,
"Not possible." Instead of arguing, I just smiled. I looked at my phone and the "corbrinators" were going crazy about the picture Corey posted of us last night. It felt so right, spending New Years with him. Once again, I kissed him. I scrolled through some of the comments. "I miss Cowan :(" I frowned.

Corey

I watch as Sabrina looks through her phone. Her blue, shiny eyes, her long, blond hair, her perfectly shaped mouth, everything about her was just....perfect. I see as her bright smile turns into a sad frown.
"What's wrong Sab?"
She clears her throat,
"Uh-uh nothing. I'm fine." She flashes me that heart-sinking fake smile. I hover over and get real close to her. I see the comment "I miss Cowan :(." I can't help it, I laugh. She looks up at me. I grab her hand.
"Sabrina there is no way in a thousand years that me and Rowan would ever get together. I promise." She raises an eyebrow. Oh. "Now, I love Rowan. I do. But she will never be anything more than a friend. Just a friend." She moves her hand and places it on my bare chest. I put my arm around her and pulled her closer. If we got any closer, I think we would combine. But I didn't mind. I loved her and I always will. She layed her head on my shoulder after she kissed my neck. I bent down so I could kiss her lips. They felt so soft and I was glad that I could, once again, help her to be happy again. Just then, the phone rang. "Seriously? Right now?"
Sabrina laughed, "Just let it ring. I need you here." I decided to listen to her. I layed my head on top of hers and closed my eyes.
