(Phil's pov)

We finally arrived at my house after hours stuck in traffic. Luckily, Dan had downloaded a lot of our favorite songs and we'd been singing badly to keep each other entertained. I was laughing as I climbed out of the car and we walked up to my front door, our shoulders bumping casually like old times. I crammed the key in the lock and turned it. We stepped into my house and Dan's eyes got huge as he looked around.
"Wow Phil! This place is really nice!"
I laughed and rubbed the back of my neck, blushing deeply.
"It's not that great..." I mumbled.
"If you don't think this is great you should see my place..."
Dan trailed off sadly and looked at the floor. I put my hand gently on his shoulder. He glanced up at me and smiled a little. I grabbed his bag and started walking to the guest room. "Let's get you settled in!"
He laughed and followed after me. I threw his bag onto the bed and twirled around.
"Welcome!"
He looked around and sat down on the bed gingerly. I tugged my new bear out of my pocket and looked at him, knitting my eyebrows in thought. Dan blushed and looked up at him.
"I named him already." He said it softly.
I sat next to him and grinned.
"What's his name?"
"Dil."
I doubled over laughing and he smiled down at me as I collapsed onto the floor. He started to giggle and was soon on the floor next to me.

(Dan's pov)
I was so glad To see Phil. He hadn't changed at all. Except his hair was a little shaggier. I thought it looked good though. I loved the room he'd let me stay in. And now we were laughing on the floor like old times. I felt like I was home. He suddenly stopped laughing and looked at me.
"Dan?"
"Yeah Phil?"
He looked down and I saw his face turning a deep shade of red.
"I think I'm gay."
The words hit me hard but not in a bad way. I had been struggling with my sexuality too and I wasn't really sure.
"Maybe I am too."
I smiled at him as he turned his head to look at me.
"Really?" He whispered.
"Really."
He smiled hugely and reached up, fluffing my hair gently. I laughed and he sat up.
"I'm gonna go cook dinner now!" He said as he ran out of the room.
I smiled to myself and started to unpack my things.
