11 Bad Encounters

The tattoo artist asks me if I would like to see it before he puts on the bandage and I nod excited. When I reach the mirror I turn and look over my shoulder. The rose is fully blossomed with beautiful purple petals that slowly fades into red. The skulls are a brilliant shade of golden and violet as it goes down my back. The further down my back they get, the smaller and more faded the skulls look. On my lower back a beautiful pair of black wings with golden tips sits with the feathers stretched as if in flight.

"It's perfect." I say with a smile. The artist gives me a look that says duh. I sit on the chair again and he puts on the dressing with careful hands. He hands me the ointment and I pull my shirt back down. After he explains whats in the ointment and how to apply it we all go into the lobby to pay.

"Let me see! Let me see! Let me see!" Lillie says excited. I chuckle.

"Wait until we get home." Nash laughs as I pay and turn.

"Let's go get ice cream. My treat!" Maya says with a smirk.

We take our time eating our ice cream before heading back to the house. As soon as I step threw the door Lillie, Maya, Zac, Samantha, Wes, and Tod all say;

"I want to see the tattoo now!!" I nod with a small smile. I grin at my friends. I turn to Nash.

"Will you help me remove the binding?" I ask him. He nods smiling. We walk into my room and close the door. I turn my back to him and lift upon the back of my shirt. I feel his gentle figures skimming the bandages. He finds the edge and carefully peels off the bandage at my lower back before moving to the bigger one. After throwing away the bandages he rubs some more ointment on the fresh tattoos. I carefully lower my shirt and we step out of the room.

The pack is waiting outside of the room when we step out the door. Including a few I just met not to long ago. Their is; Jay a girl with light brown hair, grey eyes and caramel skin. Tori, she has chin length black hair, dull blue eyes and bronze skin. She looks Brazilian. Alec, a boy with strawberry blonde hair, big blue eyes and tan skin. And lastly Elena, a girl with ruby red hair, dull green eyes with grey speckles, and pale white skin. The only one that isn't accounted for seems to be Seth. A bitter taste fills my mouth. I don't know what i could have possibly done to him to make him hate me...other then taking his place as second. The bitterness leaves, guilt replacing it.

"Well? Come on lets see it!"Tori says eagerly. I smile and turn my back to them and carefully lift up the back of my shirt. I hear a satisfying bunch of ohs and awes and "that's cools!" I let my shirt fall back into place and grin. I spin back around.

"I take it you like them?" I ask hopeful. The pack laughs and agrees with me.

We speed he rest of the night training and talking. When everyone starts moving to the pool and laughter filters in through the open doors Maya runs up to me with a huge smile.

"Come on! Put on your bathing suit and get in!" She laughs. I smile.

"I can't. I just got tattoo's remember? I am just gonna go listen to music or something." I say. She presses her lips together.

"I could come with you and-"

"No.No. That's okay go. Have some fun. I am perfectly fine." I interrupt her. She hesitates but nods and runs back to the pool. I turn around and begin to head to my room. Then I see Nash and change directions.

" Hey I am going to go for a walk in the park." I say. He turns.

"It's getting late. And you don't have a car." He says.

"No I don't but I have wings. I will only be a couple hours." I argue.

"Okay... Please be safe." He says after a long sigh. I kiss him on the cheek and walk out the front door. I summon up a pair of large black and golden wings, like the ones on my back, and I feel the familiar rip of pain through my shoulder blades. I am about to take off when the door opens. I turn around just in time to see Nash poke his head out of the door. He holds out a jacket with slits at the shoulder blades. I smile at him.
