POP POP POP!
The sound bounces off the walls as we shoot our bullets finding targets and ash piles begin to form. Someone rushes toward me and I raise my gun, pull the trigger and
CLICK CLICK!
I groan and the person attacks. I throw a punch at them and they stagger back surprised. They launch forward knocking me into the wall. I hear the howl of a wolf and the vampire turns. I jump up tears springing to my eyes. I use this advantage to change the clip and lift the gun but its to late. She had already turned back around and is now pinning my arms. She bites down on my neck and I roar with anger. Because let me tell you, that still hurts really badly. I drop one of my shoulders and slip a dagger out of my boot and then I thrust it up into her heart. She shrieks and let's go. I watch as she falls to the ground her skin bubbling and the turning to ash. I sweep my gun up off the floor and aim. I barely manage to twist the gun before shooting Nash.

"Nash behind you!" I yell. He spins out of the way as I shoot. Baya walks through the crowd of her minions. They all pause and move behind her. Most crouch and bare their teeth while others eye Nash with hunger. I bare my fangs and stand I'm front of him protectively. Baya laughs.

"Rebellious aren't you? Come James stopping playing around." She says. James steps up beside me and bares his fangs at her.

"You lost me when you changed this girl." He growls. I glance at him.

"Protect Nash." I tell him. He nods and stands in front of Nash. Baya shrieks in anger and launches at me. I backhand her and she fly's across the room. Others rush up to me. I lift my gun and try to fire.

"James!" I yell throwing my gun behind me. I grab my daggers and start staving and slicing whatever comes within reach. Nash takes James gun and begins shooting. Piles of ash begin to form. Baya Cry's out, half in frustration, half in defeat. With a hit of sorrow. She calls the others away in retreat and they run off down the hall disappearing in seconds. I let out a shuttering breath. I hesitate I don't know what I should do. I slowly turn around keeping my head down. I glance over at James and see he is fidgeting with my gun, trying to in jam it. Nash brushes past him and hugs me tightly to his chest. I begin to cry in his familiar embrace.

"God I missed you." He murmurs kissing my forehead.

"I.... I.... I was c-changed." I stammer. Nash tightens his hold as if he was afraid I would bolt.

"But it doesn't matter." He says determined.

"Nash. I could hurt you." I say my voice broken from my tears.

"Shhh. Shhhh. It's okay. We are going to get through this. We always do." He promises.

"We haven't BEEN through this before!" I cry. "What if the pack won't except me anymore? What if I hurt someone?" I ask choking on my tears.

"They will accept you babe. We will help you. We won't let you hurt anyone," He promises. "Come on honey let's go home." He says and begins to lead me away. I pause.

"Nash? Can James stay with us for a few days? He helped me today. And because of me he can't stay here anymore." I ask him. Nash looks hesitant.

"I don't drink human blood. Only animal blood. Whenever I do drink human blood I loose control." He explains to Nash. "Melena refused to drink human blood so I gave her animal blood so she drinks it as well." He says.

"Actually I am repulsed by drinking any things blood but I would like to live." I object. Nash rolls his eyes at me.

"You can stay as long as you like. Its the least I could do for you helping me get my girl back to me." Nash says and kisses the top of my head.

"Thank you. I will leave sometime tomorrow." James says.

"Let's go home." I say slumping against Nash." He leads us to Samantha's car. When we arrive at the house the pack is waiting in the living room. I pause, hiding behind Nash scared of how they will react. James trails slowly behind me. A jolt of surprise shoots through me when I spot Seth amongst them.
