I have no clue why I decided to come back. Even opening the door brought back to many memories. When Elena and Damon got together I couldn't take it, I had to leave, clear my head. Why? Because I loved Elena and seeing her with my brother! That was too much too fast. But now was the time to come home. See my friends and live my life surrounded by people who care about me.
I check my phone. Something I haven't done since the start of the summer. 30 missed calls from Caroline and 20 voicemails. Even Elena and Damon called me a couple times. I'm still at the front porch pacing without even realising it. Finally I push open the door and suddenly all my regret comes rushing back...
