I'm going to be honest. On the 15 minute walk to the boarding house I kept wanting to stop and turn around. I couldn't face another 'delena' make-out session so my plan was to walk in, grab my bag and get out. I'm walking into the house avoiding eye contact when Damon decides to come and see me.
"I'm just leaving Damon." I said in a effort to get him away.
"Stefan. I have barely seen you for 3 moths and one of the first things you say to me is go away?" Damon said attempting to find out what's wrong.
"I'm staying at Carolines for a while Damon. I'm only here to gather my things and leave." I replied back to him. "You don't have to wait. You and Elena can go back to having your Stefan-free life!"
"Ah. This is what all this is about. You are not over Elena." Damon quickly said before I could leave the house.
"To be continued Damon." I shouted loud enough for Elena to hear without her vampire hearing.
