I couldn't breath. A dead body! Why? It can't have been mum's because she has been burnt and we were spreading her ashes next weeek. So Who was it? I ran down the stairs and out through the door." Dad, who was that?!" I screamed at him
"No one" he replied.
"Don't be stupid you idiot, who was that "
He slapped me hard" Don't call me an idiot!" he shouted. The tears poured down my face. I gulped. He was drunk.
"I'll tell the police" I wispered in his face
"You dare... Get out, leave or I will kill you" He told me with a smirk on his face."And if you tell anyone , I'll Hunt you down and kill you!" he told me, his smirk turning into a massive mean grin.
I turned araound and ran back into the house. The tears forming a river. First mum and now dad. I ran up the stairs and grabbed a rucksack. I put my laptop, phone, debit card, tolitries and other essentials into it. Then i slowly walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. I Placed my keys on the table along with a note, the note said only one word: Goodbye
I walked out of the front door and shut it. I looked up, that's right wa leaving for good.
