They both return to their rooms, preparing their best Yu-Gi-Oh decks possible. They meet back up in the empty briefing room, aggressively slamming their decks down on the table. They sit down, shuffling their decks, and drawing five cards.

Ricky goes first, placing a monster in defense mode, and two trap cards. Mo places a Tenshin in attack mode, and using a "Poisons of the Old Man" spell card to boost his Life Points to 5400. He attacks the facedown monster, only to find that it's actually a Grave Squirmer. The Tenshin is sent to the graveyard.

Ricky summons a Kaiser Sea Horse in Attack Mode, attacking Mo directly, lowering Mo's Life Points to 3700. He ends his turn. Mo puts down Trap Hole, destroying Kaiser Sea Horse. He sets a card in defense mode, ending his turn. Ricky angrily sets a trap card, ending his turn. Mo sets a monster, subsequently tributing them to summon a Blue Eyes White Dragon. He tries to directly attack Ricky, lowering Ricky's life points to 1000 LP.

Ricky summons Kaibaman in attack mode, immediately exchanging it for his Blue Eyes. He attacks Mo's face-down card, destroying it. He ends his turn. Mo places a trap card, then ends his turn. Ricky attacks Mo directly, lowering his LP to 700. Mo used Raigeki Break, discarding one monster from his hand to destroy Ricky's Blue Eyes, ending his turn. Ricky summons a Telekinetic Shocker, attacking Mo and winning, sending Mo to -1000 LP. Mo angrily accepts defeat, taking his cards and leaving the room.
