Pretty brown eyes so full of hope
but everyone took you as a joke
blinded by all this makeup
its harder for me to wake up
Sometimes you just have to hide
by covering up all these lies
melting all the ice inside
just so you can survive the truth
suffocating in your own youth
Pretty brown eyes so full of hope
doing drugs in order for you to cope
just a lonely girl trying to speak out
with no one to hear you out
They saw right through her
She had so much to offer
but yet nobody was willing to hear
nobody was willing to care
Pretty brown eyes so full of hope
landing on a slippery slope
trying to keep balance off her plug
hoping she didn't trip on the cord
Off now praying to her Lord
to figure out whether if life is worth it
having to fight through the mistakes
in order to start living with purpose
Pretty brown eyes so full of hope
caught up in your jump rope
holding on to the world with a kaleidoscope
with no one to hear cause she's dead
lastly, drifting away from her bed
Wrapped up rotten to the core
Now so soon she can finally soar
Underground soul above she is adore
