"So, friends for 8 years?" Jimin said in awe, "our Suga and Monnie have been friends for years like that, no?" Jimin nudged Jin with his elbow.
"Yeah." Jin sat down in the practice room corner, holding his phone. After you all had finish eating, your friend had paid for you and dragged you off to some surprise. Jin was going to stop him to get your number but you were already gone. Jin pouted a bit with the thought, catching the other members' attention.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing." Jin simply said.
"Jin-hyung."
"Hoseok."
"Jin-hyung, what's wrong?"
"(Y/n) left and I wasn't able to get her number," he sighed and opened his flip phone, "there goes my new friend."
"Pfft just go get it." Hoseok patted Jin's back.
"I don't know where she is." Jin closed his phone and stuffed his hands in his sweater. "She left with her best friend, Si-Young."
."What's the surprise?" You asked as he pulled you into his apartment and spread his arms. There was nothing different. Well, except it was a bit cleaner.
"Wow, you cleaned," You applauded and pet his head, "good oppa."
He laughed and held your hand, "no, look! This is our apartment now. You're moving in. I already have all your stuff here." He moved to the black leather couch and smiled. "We're roommates. You can have the spare room."You were speechless. A small squeak left you and he put his index finger up. "Before you call me a creep or something, when I went to your house..." He leaned foward on the couch and pulled a cigarette between his lips, "I saw all your stuff out on the yard so I brought it here."
You felt your eyes stinging a bit. Your mother had thrown your stuff out...
"Honestly... I've been meaning to ask you to move in. I can't stand your mom. She's a total bi-"
His phone rang.
"Yah?" He stood, taking the call.
He pointed to the door and whispered, patting your head, "I'll be back later, jjingjjingi." He jogged out and shut the door behind him.You were pretty lucky to have him as a friend.
You sat on the couch and fiddled with your hand, unwrapping the bandage. The cuts weren't healed of course but they also weren't bleeding so you threw away the bandage and washed your hands.
'Thanks Jin' was the only thing in your head as your left the apartment and walked to the closest store for new bandages, and few other things.
Thanks Jin, you murmured as you wrapped your hand with a new, clean bandage.
You bought some ingredients so you could bake something for both Jin and Si-young.
Hopefully they'll enjoy.
You laid out two pieces of plactic wrap decorated with little hearts and stars and you placed a thin sheet of white paper in the center. You piled cookies on both the papers and finished it off by tying it close with a string fashioned into a flimsy bow.
You left one of the bundles on the couch for Si-young and carried the other one out carefully.
Where did he take me again, you asked yourself as walked around.
You found yourself by the building Jin had brought you to about half an hour later. You sighed in relief and walked in. Feeling lost for another while until you peeked into a room with six boys dancing and one sitting in the corner, opening and shutting his phone with a pout on his face.
"you okay, Jin?" You asked, peeking in a little more.
He scrambled up, leaving his phone on the ground. The other boys were panting quietly but they looked surprised to see you again as they stopped. Except for Hoseok; he was smiling. His smile was so bright and absolutely adorable.
You bowed and waked in, feeling embarrassed and you gave Jin the bundle. "Ahm, I wanted to say thank you so... I baked you all some cookies."
Jin's eyes seemed to light up again and he undid the bow and pulled out one big, chocolate chip cookie, smiling."Wha... they look so good!" Hoseok groaned in amazement and took one.
"Thank you!" They all said in sync.
Jin handed the bundle to the other members and hugged you tightly, half a cookie stuffed in his mouth.
Two thuds sounded as Taehyung and Hoseok hit the floor.
Taehyung clutched his chest, "these cookies...are so good."
Hoseok started clutching his chest, too making you laugh.
They were so extra.Jimin was smiling at you. "I'm so glad to be your oppa.
Jin slapped his arm and took another cookie.
"You all get one except for me, I get the rest." He declared. He sat down and pat the floor next to him. You sat by him, blushing a bit. The the members settled down, so you seemed to be sitting in a 'U' shape.
"What was the surprise?" Jin asked, "not to be nosy!" He quickly added, waving his hands.
You just laughed a bit and stared at the floor, blushing slightly still. "We're roommates now."
Jin slow down on his cookie and tilt his head.
Hoseok, who had taken the other spot by you, put his hand up for a high five. "Living with your friend is always best. You can now share make up...or whatever girls do!"
"He's a boy." Jin pointed out.
"Si-young...?"
"It's unisex."
A small laugh left Yoongi and he shook his head, "get ready."
You looked at him, confused. "What?"
"He's a boy. You're a girl. You're 'roommates' and he probably has a cute little nickname for you. Get ready for a relationship."
You looked down in embarrassment and gulped.
"Jjingjjingi." Jin said.
"What?" Responded Yoongi, his eyebrows rising.
"Jjingjjingi. He calls her jjingjjingi."
"He's just my best friend." You glared at Jin before standing and leaving.
Jin looked away, feeling a bit regretful but Hoseok immediately stood and followed you, leaving everyone else staring at Yoongi and Jin.Hoseok tapped your shoulder tried to lift your mood by smiling a bit. "Hey, sorry. Yoongi's just blunt."
"It's fine..." you murmured and left the building, Hoseok still trailing after you.
He jogged up to you and fixed his black beanie. "Why did you get so upset?"
You looked at him, his beanie folding his ears a bit. "I don't know..."
"Is there a little history?" His voice was quieter.
"Erm, not really."
"Not really?"
"Yeah... I mean, no but yes..."
Hoseok grabbed your hand and pulled you in the direction of the park and sat on the grass. "You can't talk to me."
You looked around, the park was coincidentally empty. You sighed at sat in front of Hoseok. "We had a normal friendship, I suppose. At most a peck on the cheek. All friendly."
"So why did you get so ticked?"
"Because... I don't think anyone would want to be my boyfriend, so I felt embarrassed and joked." You awkwardly started to pluck at the grass.
"Really?" He asked and leaned down a bit, wanting you to look at him.
"Well yeah. I'm fat... ug-"
"SSHHH! Hush, hush!" He cut you off. "Don't you dare! No person should ever think like that of themselves!" He made you look at him, his warm hands on your cheeks. "Listen to me. Skinny isn't beautiful, as cheesy as it sounds, it's personality that's beautiful. You seem to have one heck of a personality, so you're beautiful!" He squeezed your cheek and smiled sweetly."I think I know what will make you happy." He pulled a pen from his pocket. The pen he was going to give Jin so he could get your number and instead gave you his own number without thinking. "Call me whenever you want to talk. Or when you bake cookies." He laughed and drew a smiley face by his number on your arm.
"I'm sure any real man would love to date someone as beautiful as you."
