Hang out

Yeah, it was Jin. Of course he was pulling the most casual, sleep depraved look off.
"Jin!" Hoseok said, gleefully throwing his arm around his hyung's broad shoulders. "Now that you and (y/n) have made up, we should go out for lunch together later." Was Si-young going to show up again, because no thanks, Jin thought.

"We made up?" Jin's eyebrows rose.
"Yeah, (y/n)...called?" Taehyung's smile starting to fall.
"Do you not remember?" You cleared your throat awkwardly. Why would he even help you lie? What were you hoping for?
"She did, of course. She's not a liar. I just mean that we didn't make up since I was never upset with her. I've been totally fine." He was lying now. Great. He was pretending he didn't stay up all night thinking about you. Like he wasn't upset about everything going on.
You smile to the boys, nodding. "We're all better now."
"What was the problem, if you don't mind me asking?" Taehyung asked.
"I called Si-young some mean names." Jin lied. "Like jerk, annoying, a pest." He took advantage of the situation. It felt good to say it out loud finally.
You frowned. "Yeah. So glad he didn't mean it."
Jin sipped from his coffee and smiled at you. He meant it.
"Maybe we should hang out with Si-young." Looking Jin in eyes, you suggested. "How about it? Maybe Jin can become good friends with Si-young."
Jin's smile dropped. Hoseok and Taehyung looked at each other and shrugged.
"Let's go."

You knocked on the simple gray glass door of the studio with no response. He wasn't there. Then where was he?
Frowning, you sighed. You flicked your wrist signaling the boys to follow you out. Jin couldn't hide the smile on his face.

Ad you turned the corner of the hall, a loud growl and pair of crooked hands and almsot scared your lights out. Si-young scared you. He was pretending to be a dinosaur.
"Rawr, watch out, (y/n)!" He roared playfully, laughing at your reaction. Apparently it was gratifying to see you almost have a heart attack. Not to mention he also scared Hoseok and Jin. Taehyung just laughed. So really, only you three all screamed in unison as if you were in a haunted house.
"Gotcha!" He said laughing.
You laughed a bit and hit his shoulder. However Jin wasn't smiling and J-hope was just glad he was alive.
"I kind of wanted to hang out." You said, gliding your hand in the air to show him the three boys. "Jin especially said he wanted to become good friends."
"I did?" He asked between his teeth, taking a smile.
"Yeah. When you said you didn't mean to say all those things you said you hoped you and him could become closer."
Si-young noticed the clear tension and held your hand. Was he planning to make it worse or better?
"Where do you wanna hang out?"
