(Episodes one-four) There's this guy named Jesse who had a pet pig and a friend named Petra (who was actually Olivia). There's a guy with a beard involved somewhere (Ivor) and some cool girl that you find in a library (Petra). There's this other guy who's obsessed with ocelots or something that shows up at some point too and follows you around (Lukas). You and "Petra" are traveling through the nether and find this world run by an aloof princess (Ellegaard, and yeah, I thought she was a princess). Somewhere towards the end a monster is released (the Wither Storm, and MAN I did not see that coming so early in the game) that you have to defeat or something. Also, there's this subplot about the guy with the beard having revenge. (Wow, got that part right)
I had never heard the name Olivia before and I didn't even know Axel existed.
I learned all this by watching little bits of Stampy's play through videos over my brother's shoulder.
