Percy POV

Forcing my eyes to open is one of my biggest mistake of this day. Feeling nauseous, sore, and stiff, I forced myself to sat up and without making myself threw up my insides to the wooden floors.

Wooden floors?

I frantically looked around as I observed where or who took me. Noticing some animal skins and the spacious room I am in, I knew I was being taken care by the hunters of Artemis and Artemis herself. I gave out a sigh of relief and tried to stand up; despite the aching pain of my entire body.

In my dismay, I fell down to the floor with my face first with my hand slipped from the nightstand beside me which caused some objects on the nightstand to fall onto me and created loud crashing sounds. Groaning in pain, I painfully sat up trying to subdue the distortion of my vision and refraining the bile -in my throat- from coming out of my mouth. With a hand on my mouth and head, I heard fast paced footsteps coming towards to the door.

"Percy!" I heard a feminine voice shouted my name from the doorframe. "Oh gods! Atalanta, get Lady Artemis! Quickly!"

Fatigue suddenly hit me, as I keep my mouth and eyes shut. Dizziness and migraine shot me like a bullet straight to my head. The throbbing pain in my entire body intensified tenfold. Couldn't bear the pain within me, I laid back down on the cold floor as I placed my two hands on my head. Then, I heard some painful screams. After a few seconds, I realized that I was the one screaming.

"Percy. Percy!" I heard the voice shouted as a pair of hands frantically shaking me. "Oh gods. Percy, stop screaming in pain and help me get through this."

I felt her hands grabbed my head then placed something soft between the cold floor and I. Loud footsteps can be heard from where we are before a loud smash sound of the door to the wall. Feeling three people came inside of the room, I started to groan in pain and shifted my position.

"How did he end up on the floor?" A masculine authoritative voice asked as I felt a callused hand press on the side of my neck. "Wait. Don't answer that. Knowing Percy, he would stand up despite his condition. Help Artemis get medical supplies from my bag and from the medical cabinet of one of your tents."

Rushed footsteps run out as the man carried me with an arm below on the back of my knees and shoulder blades. He injected something -which caused me to feel nothing- and started to mumble incoherent words.

I tried to speak but it came out as a groan due to the growing pain of my headache.

"Percy, stay with me." He growled "Don't you dare fall asleep this time."

"We got it! We also brought the whole bag." I heard the female voice again but her voice starting to get more fainter by the second.

"Make sure he is awake as I continue the process." The man said.

"Percy." She softly said as she grabbed my hand and I groan in response. "Do you remember anything before you woke up?

Then, I felt a cooling sensation ran down from my head to my entire body; making the pain lessen and bearable. A sigh came out of my mouth as the pain lessen to a throbbing ache. My deliberated body became to invigorate as the wave of cooling sensation pass through me.

I fluttered my eyes open, knowing I was being healed by the god of medicine. The dizziness and the distortion of my vision fade with the throbbing ache of my being. I adjusted my eyes at the brightness of the room and saw three worried faces looking down at me; one male and two female.

"Do you remember anything before you woke up?" Artemis questioned.

I was about to answer when I coughed violently and cleared my throat from its dryness. With no progress, I mouthed 'water' to them. Apollo grabbed a glass of water on the other nightstand beside my bed and gave it to me, which I happily and gratefully accepted the drink. I sat up and gulped down the water as if there were no tomorrow. The water rehydrated the dryness of my throat but the pain of the cough lingered on my throat and mouth.

"Nothing really." I half-lied to her. "I remember the explosion then blank. The next thing I know is that I'm here being treated."

"I see." Apollo mumbled as he went to a table filled with medical herbs and supplies. "Artemis, Thalia, can you give us a minute? I have some matters to discuss with him."

They both nodded and walked away without a second glance at me but with a glare at Apollo. Thalia gave a worried glance before closing the door behind her.

"Percy." Apollo gravely said as he turned around and eyed me suspiciously. "I can sense the truth within the lies. And what you told Artemis that you can't remember anything before you woke up is a mixture of lies and truth. I don't want you to be uncomfortable because of this confrontation. But if you are going to assist my sister in a hunt, you better tell her or Thalia about the things you saw and feel."

I looked away from him to the corner of the room and thought my words carefully and wisely. Sensing my immediate discomfort, he sighed and walked closer to me. He offered me a cup of nectar which I timidly accepted the drink from his hands. I heard him cleared his throat, that caused me to look at him, and flashed me a warm smile.

"I didn't mean to upset you." He said as I took a sip from the cup. "If you want, you can tell me about the things you saw in your dreams. Also, Nico is-"

"You don't have to. I was already been told about his condition." I cut him off and looked down at my drink with worry. On the nectar, seeing my bruised and tired face reflecting back at me made my dreams -that I was trying to forget- resurfaced.

"What do you mean 'you were already been told'?" Apollo looked at me bewilderedly and sat beside my bed. "No one except Artemis, Thalia and I come here. We three didn't even said a word about his condition in this room."

I looked at him in the eyes and gave him a worried filled look before turning it into a stern look. Looking at him made him uncomfortable and interested on me even more.

"He told me." I said. "The Guardian of Olympus told me about the upcoming war and Nico's condition. He told me about his arrival and the threat he saw. He also wanted to let the gods know that his his arrival will come sooner than expected. The Guardian of Olympus will raise and continue his duty. He is coming."

SMR here!

I was supposed to publish this chapter two days or a day ago but I ran out of time. My class went to a soirée and it kinda took a lot of my writing time and my attention. Also, my school is pressuring me a lot of projects and activities.

So sorry for the long wait.

Feel free to correct my mistakes because it is also past midnight here and I am still writing stories. I'm sure I typed a lot of cringing words here.
