Sugarstar gazed down at her clan, live with cats. Watching as Amberpaw flung a peice of moss across the clearing and Shadowkit dashed after it. Tesswing yawned in the shade of her den, the senior warriors, Dewfrost and Solosong, chatted together.
Sugarstar forced a faint smile and leaped off her rock. She summoned Prancestorm, Boltdash, and Ravenclaw with a flick over her tail.
"Go on a hunting patrol. I expect you each to come back with at least one piece of prey." Sugarstar ordered.
The cats dipped their heads and squeezed through the fern tunnel.
Sugarstar swiveled around and padded toward the nursery to check on her deputy, Dawncloud.
Dawncloud was staring at her kits, but flicked her gaze up at Sugarstar.
"Hello, Dawncloud. Your kits will be fine warriors," Sugarstar meowed, flicking her tail toward Tallkit, Shadowkit, Bushkit,
and Shinekit, watching Amberpaw show them the hunting crouch.
Dawncloud dipped her head. "Thank you." She purred.
Sugarstar nuzzled Dawncloud goodbye and padded out of the nursery den.
Tallkit was chatting with Tesswing, interested in medicine cat stuff.
Sugarstar smiled and padded into her den, plopping down into her den and sighed.
