Tallkit, Shinekit, Shadowkit and Bushkit where now paws'!

Sugarstar was still serving her clan well, even though she lost a life in a dog attack.

Shadowpaw's mentor was Dewfrost, Gempelt was Bushpaw's , Prancestorm was Shinepaw's, and Tesswing was Tallpaw's.

The mentors and apprentices all headed out to the dusty hollow, where they learned to hunt.

Tesswing showed Tallpaw tbe basic herbs for scratches, bites, coughs and cobwebs to stop bleeding.

Dawncloud felt happy now that she wasn't stuck in the nursery anymore and she could serve her clan.

Dawncloud led a hunting patrol, now that it was the beginning of leaf bare.
Dashfoot and Boltdash were with her as they padded out the fern tunnel.

Slushsky was also now expecting Dewfrost's kits, so she moved to the nursery. Slushsky has always wanted kits, and now she has the chance.

Honeyspirit was grooming herself near the flat rocks, Hawkstorm sitting by her side.
Sugarstar glanced at the fresh kill pile, noticing there was only a scrawny blackbird and a couple mice, and hoping the hunting patrol would come back soon.

At last, they came back. To Sugarstar's surprise, Boltdash came back with a plump mouse and a small vole.

While the others came back with a mouse and crow.

Sugarstar trotted towars them. "Well done. I wasn't expecting to have that much prey in leaf bare." She peered at the nice, still warm prey.

"Yeah, I guess we were lucky," Dashfoot purred.

"Well, it is just the beginning of leaf bare so.. The prey might have been srill looking for food." Dawncloud pointed out.

"True." Dashfoot admitted as they all placed their prey of the prey pile and padded off to the warriors den to rest.

The apprentices and mentors burst into the clearing. "There was two foxes while we were practicing battle training" Prancestorm panted. "The apprentices fought bravely, but Bushpaw got badly injured." He sighed.

Bushpaw was leaning up against Gempelt's shoulder.

Tesswing ran into the clearing. "I heard there was a fox attack?" Tesswing mewed.

"Yes." Gempelt mewed, worried.

Bush paw had a gash on her shoulder.

"Tallpaw, get me some cobweb and marigold and poppy seeds." Tesswing ordered.

Tallpaw nodded and dashed off to the medicine cat's den to do so.

She came back with the essentials and gave them to Tesswing.

Tesswing used some cobweb to ease the bleeding and rubbed some marigold on it, placing more cobweb on.

She gave Bushpaw a couple poppy seeds.
"Eat these and go rest." Tesswing mewed.

Bushpaw nodded, scared, and scampered off to the apprentice den.

The night was quickly sweeping in. The camp was still, so Sugarstar sighed, looked up at the sky and closed her eyes. Please starclan, don't let anything bad happen to my clan.
Sugarstar padded into her den and lay in her nest, finally dozing off.
