i looked at the time in udder shock.

"n-no," i mumbled, quickly turning around and facing the curly haired boy. "you have to change it back..!"

he chuckled and shook his head. "haven't you learned anything?" he replied. "life doesn't work the way you expect it to, dallas."

"that's because you're constantly in the way of things!" i answered, my voice echoing through the very large room. "i just want to do something without you feeling like you have to control my life!"

"you're mine though," he told me, shoulders relaxing and a hint of hurt in his voice. "you do love me, right?"

i bit my lip. i felt guilty. he does this all the time; does something horrible, we fight, he does his puppy-eye shit, i forgive him, and repeat.

i don't want to forgive him, but every time i say that to myself, i think that this might be the time he decides to change. and, of course, i still believe he has the power to change.

god, i hate him

my shoulders relaxed as well. i sighed and looked at the ground.

"yes, i do love you. i'm sorry," i eventually told him.

he ran up to me and quickly enveloped me into a hug, which i did in return.

i felt my shoulder begin to become wet. milo was crying. i held him closer.

"just please promise me you'll set the clocks back, please," i said quietly. i felt him softly nod and then heard him snap his fingers.

this is the last time this happens.
