Crazy=Genius

Chapter 1

*Darcy P.O.V.*

Of course I can't sleep when I have my first actual job tomorrow. Four years of my life wont be gone to waste because I don't wake my ass up tomorrow morning. Violet went to sleep right away of course but here I am at 12 am and I need to be up in 6 hours. As I laid there for a couple more minutes worrying about tomorrow morning I finally fell asleep.

*alarm rings*

Well today will be interesting I said to myself as I walked down stairs to the smell of coffee already being made by my best friend Violet.

"Well good morning to you miss grumpy pants." I said to Violet

"Shut up and drink your coffee."

"Aren't you happy to be up this early again." I said

"Not really but how you you feel about taking care of crazy people for the rest of your life?" she said with a small laugh

"I wouldn't call them crazy just yet we haven't even bin assigned to people yet."

"Ya but obviously they're in there for a reason." she said

"And that's what were are going to find out because we are psychologists and that's our job, so put a smile on and get ready."

"I hate when you're right all the time." she said with a laugh

"love you too." I said

As I was getting ready I was afraid that this job would change me in so many different ways. Me just studying this kind of stuff and the people I gotta deal with gave me nightmares sometimes. If I didn't have Violet as my partner I don't think I'd be able to do this all on my own. I was always told by my family and people in collage that I was too nice for this kind of job and that it would ruin me. I hope I stay the same as I am and not go crazy like the people I have to treat.

I chose to wear a black pencil skirt and a nice white button up shirt since this hospital were assigned to had a formal dress code for the people that worked there besides the nurses. My hair was in a messy bun because I can't do a nice bun in my hair to save my life and I wore my glasses. Violet chose a similar outfit to me just no glasses and her bun looked way better than mine.

The car ride was short and simple with me and Violet listening to the morning talk shows and seeing everyone else going to work or school. Finally I saw a big sign that said "Camarillo State Mental Hospital" soon after I got chills at the sight of the place. It gave me the creeps.

"Fucking shit this place is scary" Violet said to me as we were getting out of our car

I laughed a little as we were greeted by this old nice looking lady that looked like she had a million dollars with her in her pocket.

"Hello Ladies You must be Darcy and Violet." The old lady said

"Yup that's us." Violet said

"Splendid I am Marie Calloway " She said

"Nice you meet you Marie." I said

"I'm Happy to welcome you ladies to Camarillo State Mental Hospital." Marie said with a smile
