Chapter 3.

-Saturday-

"Why didnt you tell me this before?" Alex says curiously as she shoves pizza in her mouth. "You know I wouldn't judge you, I am dating Maggie." Kara nods her head, and grabs the fifth box of pizza.

"I know." Kara says shoving a cheese pizza in  her mouth. "I was just nervous."

Alex nods her head and gently squeezes Karas free hand. "I am glad you told me." Kara smiles widely. "So now this girl." Alex adds curiously. Kara looks at Alex conflicted if she should say anything. She could tell Alex that she sorta has a crush on Lena, but Kara knows Alex's thoughts on the Luthors. They arent good people in her eyes.

"It's just a girl." Kara mentions waving her hand, trying to make light of the subject.

"Have you talked to her?" Alex asks curiously.

Kara nods her head. "Twice, but the second time I was drunk."

Alex nods her head. "Of course you were." She laughs, "Can I ask her name?"

Kara fights herself on whether to tell Alex or not. Deciding to be safe, she doesn't. "Her name is Jessica."

'Jessica has green eyes.' Kara says in her head, 'good cover up.'

"Where did you met this Jessica?" Alex asks intrigued.

"The club and then the office, and then the club again." Kara says smiling slightly.

"So you have talked to her three times then?"

Kara shakes her head. "The first time we just glanced at each other, the other time we talked at the club but I was drunk."

Alex nods her head slowly. "Ask her out."

Kara laughs. "I barely have time to do my work and be supergirl. Add a relationship? I dont know." Kara says lying. She knew if Lena came to her and wanted to be her girlfriend, Kara would say yes. But Kara knew she had to slow down, she barely even knew Lena. What if she really didnt like her?

"Not yet. I have to get to know her." Kara adds.

Alex smiles. "That's what you do on a date. Anyway what happened with you and James?"

"James?" Kara says shocked. "no-Nothing is going-"

Alex puts her hand up. "You cant lie to me. I know you like him, and now he's single. So what is happening with him?"

Kara shrugs her shoulder. "Nothing at the moment."

Alex nods her head, "just be careful okay.  At least figure out who you want to pursue more before you pursue both."

Kara nods her and places her empty pizza box on the floor. "Trust me, I know what I want." Kara smiles and fixes her glasses before focusing on the TV.

"KARA!" Cat yells from her office. Kara quickly saves her article she was writing and runs into Cat's office.

"Yes?" She says, stopping in front of Cat's desk.

"I would like a report on what happened with Ms. Luthor." Cat takes off her glasses and folds her arms.

"right." Kara dances on the balls of her feet for a second. "Well-" Kara sighs, "she was very kind to me. She tends to ramble a lot but its cute. She's beau-" Kara catches what she says and freezes for a second. Shaking her head she continues, "She doesn't agree with the deal. She believes the aliens are seeking refugee on our world, and we are being cruel by making them "register" themselves for the world. She thinks it will endanger their lives."
