Chapter 6

Leaning back against my couch, I decide to pull out my phone and dial Winn's number. Of course he doesnt answer the first time. It takes nearly five times before Winn finally answers, a little out of breath I may add.

"Hello?" He says, trying to catch his breath.

"Running a marathon?" I say laughing.

"ha-ha." He says, gulping his drink. "Your sister has me training with her in-case one day I go into the field, I am exhausted."

"WINN! OFF THE PHONE!" Alex says firmly, before laughing. "Tell kara you are busy."

"How did she know it was me?" I ask laughing.

"Who else would call him at 8 at night." Alex says into the phone.

"Anyway, WINN! lets go clubbing?" I ask randomly. I really want to see if I can see Lena there again, we seem to vibe differently in a club setting.

"I will answer for Winn, he cant." Alex inserts before Winn has a chance to speak.

"Alex!" Winn yells trying to fight for the phone.

"If you can take it from me, you can go." Alex says confindently.

I laugh a little too loudly. "Kara I cant go, maybe tomorrow?"

I laugh and shake my head, "It's okay, good luck with Alex!"

As I toss my phone on the table, I begin to debate if I should just go to the club by myself. Plenty of people do that, but I dont. That's not something thats fun doing alone for me. Grabbing my phone from the table again, I quickly dial someones number.

"Hey Jessica!"

"So cure?" Jessica says coming up behind me. She is dressed in a red dress, that looks beyond beautiful on her. It hugs every curve of hers. I opted for just a black dress, that has a low cut in the back, but comes up to my neck.

I nod my head towards Jessica, "Yeah, it's my favorite place to go."

"Hmph." Jessica adds. "It's Ms. Luthor's favorite too, apparently she's like a regular here and always sits in the VIP section." She adds, like its no big deal.

"Theres a VIP area?" Why havent I noticed this before?

Jessica nods her head, "Yeah right after you go inside, there are stairs that lead to a balcony. She's usually up there, you know gazing down at everyone, being intimidating." She laughs slightly. "She just prefers up there, versus the bounds of bodies down here."

I nod my head. So that must be where she disappears to every time. As we enter the club I gaze up towards the VIP section but only see a guy standing, smoking a cigar while another girls hand grazes his arm. But I cannot see who that girl is.

"Bar?" Jessica asks, I nod my head.

Dammit. I cant get drunk tonight without Winn here, he has my drink.

"Kara?" A girl behind the bar asks me. "Yes?" I say confused.

"A guy named Winn ordered a drink for you."

Of course he did, Winn is so amazing sometimes.

"Come on Kara." Jessica mumbles to me, already a little tipsy. She pushes me to the dance floor and pushes her body against mine. Before I know it, our bodies are moving to the same rhythm, dancing away on the dance floor. My eyes still glance every now and then around the dance floor for Lena, but Jessica's body on mine distracts me.

"Look, she's here." Jessica whisper's in my ear, which sends shivers up my spine. She points towards the Balcony behind us. I look up to see Lenas arms wrapped around some guys neck, her lips dangerously close to his.

Instantly my body is flooded with anger. What is she doing. I watch as her lips connect with his, his arm in a fury, feeling and touching her whole body.

I glance away and focus my eyes on Jessica who is staring deeply into mine. "You okay?" She asks, wrapping her arms around me. I nod my head, and let the music consume my mind, as well as let Jessica's body distract me.

I feel her hands grazing down my back before stopping right before the cut out of my dress. I place my cheek against hers, and sway more into her body.

My body temperature raises, and I move my face away from Jessica's cheek. "Hey." She says smiling slightly and pressing her palm against my cheek, "let's go outside for some fresh air?"

I nod my head and her hand slides down to my hands, pulling me towards the door to the balcony of the club. As we open the door, the cold air instantly clings to my skin, calming me down.

"Who knew Kara Danvers had such great moves." Jessica smirks towards me.

I shrug my shoulders. "Honestly, I didn't even know either." We both laugh and lean against the balcony railing.

"so you like Lena huh?" Jessica asks.

"What!" I look at Jessica trying to fake confusion.

She smiles. "You got really jealous when you saw her with that man upstairs. I could tell." She runs her hand through her hair.

"Maybe." I lean back on the railing. "Who is he anyway?"

Jessica shrugs. "I honestly have no idea. But if Lena is kissing him, she must have a good reason."

"Maybe she likes him."

"Trust me, it's not him she likes." Jessica winks at me.

"What do you-"

"MS.LUTHOR." Jessica says loudly turning her head towards the door. My eyes instantly look towards the door, but no ones there.

"Yeah, you defiantly like her."

I hit her arm slightly. "Rude."

Jessica grabs my hand. "I'm craving McDonalds, want to go get some?" I nod my head and follow her back through the club and towards the exit.

I look up back towards the VIP section, and I see Lena leaning against the railing, a cigarette between her fingertips. She looks towards me and her eyes widen, but I look away.

I grip tighter onto Jessica's hand as we exit the club.
