I Got The Part?

Ash's POV

I dragged myself home as the part where Johnny kissed Meena kept coming back to me. It was him that kissed her. Does that mean he likes Meena? Does he have a crush on her? Well, not a supise really... Meena is the shy and cute types. Ughhhhh.... I seriously need a break from all this. Hmmm... What can stop me from thinking about all this nonsense? Maybe some Misheard K-Pop lyrics will cheer me up.

Meena's POV

Ughhhh.... I feel so weird and awkward now.... I don't want to kiss Johnny! Hmm, maybe I just should just resign from being Melissa. Ash did say she wanted the role of Melissa, maybe I can get Buster to allow us to swap places! I'm going to find him right now.

*when she found Buster*

'Buster! There you are.' I cried in delight when I found him in his office.  'Oh hi Meena! Are you looking for me?' He asked. 'Yes, it's because... Well, um... I want to swap places with Ash for the play.' I said meekly, playing with my ears. 'Is that so? Hmmm... I guess I'll have to tell Ash tommorow then. Anyways, since you are taking the part as Melissa's mom, here's your new script.' Buster said with a smile as he handed me a piece of paper. 'Thanks Buster.' I said, before heading back home to practise my new lines.

*night*

I binged watched the funniest misheard K-Pop lyrics and I was laughing out loud, rolling in my bed. Every video had the word "gay" at least thrice. I wiped away the tears of laughter from my face before heading to the showers.

*the next day*

I walked into the theater, having that jealous and glum feeling again. 'Come on Ash! Pull yourself together.' I mumbled, hitting myself on the head. 'Ash!' Buster shouted running towards me. 'I have some news for you.' He said, smiling. Curious, I nodded my head signaling for him to go on. 'You and Meena had swaped places for the play!' He exclaimed. 'Wait really?' I said in disbelief. I didn't let it show, but I was doing victory dances in my head. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Buster pushed a piece of paper into my hands. 'Here's the script for Melissa.' He said, putting his hands behind his back and walked away. I saw him inform everyone about the changes and they were giggling? Even Johnny seemed happy. I just shrugged and tried to memorize most of the script before practise starts.

Oh my goodness.... I'm now obssed with misheard k-pop lyics. I swear I've watched it more than a million times now. 😂 and a whole lot of you really like my story! I'm so glad that you like it and next chapter will be out tomorrow. Peace!
